The *Official* Eve Online Thread

I got blown all to h*ll trying to get my Drake back to HighSec, but on the plus side, I found I had 2 more in storage in Mimen hehe. So I'm back in the game! Going to spend a little time building up some industrial skills to increase the self sufficiency and ease myself back into EVE I think, then will look for a nice corp.
 
When i played eve for more hours when i should, i found moving items from low sec to high sec or the other way round was best done about 4am... not many 'die hard' campers at that time hehe....

OCuK corp always looking for people.
 
Ive applied to join the corp but nobody has accepted me :(

On a good note, I've now got everything centralised, so I need to decided what do next now.
 
One thing i would tell people to do is get rep up with corps who have R&D agents... great way to make isks and get stuff done. Or mine rocks, but ive been mining for 12 months and need a break lol...

Selling items and buying items is something ive just started to do too, its hard at 1st but when you make that 1st profit...ooo its adictive!

Good advice on the R&D agents, Ive got two characters harvesting datacores from Lai Dai lvl 4 agents, just cashed two months worth in for about 1.3b :).
 
Veld is still the best. sells for about 11isks a unit, Trit is about 4isks a unit so if you have good refine skills, trit makes more isks.

in high sec, of course the masive and giant are better too.

I spent 5 weeks doing agent missions for insterstella transport and for a mining corp only to find ive wasted my time. Get R&D corps asap. even lvl 2 agents are better than nothing. Doesnt help me having a CHR of 12 with good implants and training skills too lol.... roll on the new patch when i can drop perc and get some chr up!

Im doing Rydon Shipyards atm for R&D

Hmm...Veldspar seems so common though.


What about in a 0.5? I swear I used to mine some gold stuff before, can't remember the name of it.
 
Omber used to be in >0.7 iirc. May have changed though. Depends what region you are in, too.. and what moon you are near, and what gas types are in the system, etc. etc.

Could be completely different now though.. has been 2+ years since I last logged in.

I'm just doing Veld for now....got 35k of it so far...woo

Veld is the best for mining for selling as it makes the most isks /unit/hour for mining. if your building items, you need more than veld.

For the amount of time you spend mining omber and selling it, you can make about 25% more ISKS doing veld... you wil notice a lot of belts with no veld in them... that be me lol..
