No it isn't - it's not a Cup, so its 154bhp/tonne. It's still pretty quick, though.

It weighs 1035KG minus driver, unless the source I'm taking the weight from is wrong..

172/1.035 = 166BHP/Tonne

Awesome car mate. This is why I wont have a BMW, its not the same experience if you dont have a 'proper' one, and I cant afford a proper one:p

Mind, its a reno, it will break, but fortunately the repair cost is a lot less then a BMW.But atleast you will have some proper fun!

The cup does, the normal one is more I'm afraid. I know the phase 1 is about 1090KG, and the phase 2 is heavier still.

Yea exactly. The cambelt has been done so all that is sorted but yea less potential to put me in the ground financially I guess.

Thanks again

Still it's a cracking car :) Planning on modding it at all?

It's got a CDA induction and a Magnex catback that some tool paid £400 for fitted (shed load of receipts in the book) if im honest the exhaust is not really to my taste so I'm debating whether just getting a stock back on.

172 is PS though, so 170 ish BHP?

If you're worried about weight, you could always remove the back seats:p

Next time you buy a BMW do it properly, listen to other people, and buy a good one not a base one :p

I've told a few people the next one I buy will be newish with a full warranty and comprehensive S/H.

It's all experience anyway :p

G Meter? Is that on the trip computer? Think that's the gallons of petrol used isn't it?

Nice car though :) Apart from consumables mine hasn't cost me a penny in repairs yet in 30k miles.

Get the RSTuner it gives it the low down torque it deserves.
