**** happens. I've had my phone stolen off me at point blank with a sawn off shotgun. Next day I was on the same road walking to school.

...and of course, you informed the rozzers of this armed robbery. I know that the police are normally lacking when it comes to investigating street crime (sorry VS), but I do know for a fact that they take kids walking around with sawed-off Shotguns and carrying out random armed robberies very seriously.

Personally, I don't believe you had a shotgun in your face, but hey, this is the internet.

This is what happens when you let people breed unmonitored. Idiots beget idiots. That with the culture being popularised, and a general fearmongering about them, it gives them some sort of status.

You lot must live in cotton wool for ***** sake :p

Teddy boys carried cut throat razors, Punks carried flick knives etc etc etc
It has been going on since the beginning of time, The only problem now is a large percentage of the Male species have the hearts of women & are weak molly coddled ********, You would rather hide in your bedrooms whinging about something than actually do summit about it.

And as for the lad who reckons he got a shotgun in the face on the street,
Complete utter BS. He sets the example you all follow :p:p:p

Before you ask or start your usual Bedroom BS remember, I go outside in the real World :p:p:p

Because I bet its really made an impact on your life?

Actually I would say it has made an impact on my life. There are certain things I will not do due to the risk of being confronted by a gang of chavs in certain places.

I won't walk through town alone after dark because there are so many groups of idiots hanging around looking for trouble.

This is but an example and there are many more I could give, so yes actually I would say it does have an impact on my life.

You stated
LMAO :D
That implies you were on about your location in E. London and has got nothing at all to do with the geographical size of Britain.
No, it doesn't imply anything about the area. That statement is open to interpretation.

EDIT: I have nothing to prove to you azagoth. I felt my experience was relevant to the thread and I posted it. If you want to post a counterargument then please do, I honestly don't give a **** and will not respond anymore.

When Labour admit they have failed miserably on law and order and in the time they have left before they are turfed out, start introducing sentences that act as a deterrent and not a stage for such miscreants to stick a finger up at the system when they leave court with a laughable sentence

Couple that with increased capacity within HMP Service and you may have a good start.

Would never happen while we live in this Human Rights happy environment everyone's so keen on at the mo.

Send them to Afganistan and Iraq instead of prison, let them point a weapon at a declared enemy instead :)

Thanks for the moment of sanity malc, you're right, it always has been like this in one way or another, I think it varies greatly around the country though.

The area I live in is getting worse, but that's not to say other areas where there used to be a lot of crime haven't reduced, there are plenty of places where that has happened.

I feel for the OP, clearly not a very nice experience. Can we all agree on the fact that the kids doing this stuff get younger every year? I can't believe that now there are 13 year olds, with only a basic grasp on how the world works, threatening people with knives. Something has gone wrong somewhere.

Where do you live?
