The *Official* Eve Online Thread

Tried it again, this time i got 8% before an error.... think i will wait until tomorrow when the mad rush has ended lol...

such bad luck getting to 100% then erroed... hope the Auzzie guy who got it likes it... :) :)

Anyone got the download 100% and patched yet.. i am trying to get it to work on a 'classic' version though...
 
i dloaded the patch when it was on the test server. Got to 100% then i got an error. Then they seemed to change the patcher. Ie: it brings up a wee patching client. Once it did that it works.
I also discovered that it actually deletes its own patch once installed so you have to dload the bloody thing again if it cocks up.

Im 14% and counting o.O

Hope no one had POS near it lol. tried once more for the patch, failed at 14%. Given up now. will wait for other sites to host then grab from there.
 
I think im going to resub tmrow night when im back home. Any idea on the price of Mackinaws at the moment? I had 8 that I bought on the cheap before my sub ran out :).
 
Been playing this game since 2004, my character is Flaming Sambuka (uber pwnzorer). I stopped playing about 6 months ago due to well... game got boring after 4 years lol. You cannot have my stuff. Maybe one day I will return.

Great game though! My advice to any newbies is to go the evil route, trust me get in with a good .0 pirating corp and you will make more iskies than you could ever make doing anything else + anything else is boring, admit it, it is. ^_^

What is it like Scarab.... worth the wait?

Pirates, hmm..... not gone that route yet, might make a 2nd account and try it, do infod take newbies?
