GTX275 to compete with HD4890 alledgedly

I hope it is another trojan horse move...........

In fanboy circles, Nvidia would have a field day, if it took ATi, what, six months since the 216? And only just beat it :/

Also, I think am right in saying this is our last run of cards until dx11? Which is like christmas, so you would think we are in for bigger gains than what a 260 216 competitor would suggest.

Uhh? The ATi hasn't been playing catch up to the GTX260 216 for six months. They've been pretty much neck and neck since the 216 was released.

I think NV have shot themselves in the foot again, having a GTX260/275/280/285/295 just seems confusing to me. I wouldn't be supprised if the 275 crosses over with an other card on either price or performance.

Surely it'll be no faster than a GTX280 considering the 285 isn't much faster than the 280. It couldn't be much slower than a 280 either because that would cross over into 260 performance.
