German Military

I believe the german army isn't allowed to be deployed within it's own country something in it's constitution. Which is why the Munich Olympics hostage taking was such a disaster

Isn't the UK one of the only western countries where the army can be deployed pretty easily within its own borders?

Meaning the SAS can be deployed against terrorists, like in the Iranian Embassy Seige.

To be fair they did have a good few years headstart on us once they were decided on the warpath and bumped their production into high gear :p

To be fair, most nations in Europe and else where at the time were locked in arms races, particularly naval with us and Germany for instance.

We got humped to start with.

you worried about them having a third crack at the title?

No, as has been said for three flippin pages now - they are moot.

Europe literally shot itself to bits, allowing power to dissipate to else where in the world. The two wars killed us, after the second war there was 'occupation' by two relative superpowers, and I'm saying that loosely, that previously would have had little chance of having any direct involvement in Europe.
