No.

If the connection of one the players is laggy(slower) it makes sure both games run at the same speed. At no time will it be faster for another player.

do you jump and press light Punch as that hits faster than the other punches
 
Just got a jasper arcade from game with hawx took hawx to a place and exchanged for £32 so I got arcade + sfIV for £130 pretty good.

It's very quiet to me even though I have no Hard drive btw it's 12.1 A on the back and has a 150 watt power brick.

Now a question how do you turn off online people challenging you when you are playing arcade ? there was a prompt for me to ask whether I wanted this feature on and I stupidly pressed yes.

Btw I see what people mean about the D pad my god it's pretty bad I can barely do RYU's ultra.

Press RT (or RB can't remember which) while highlighting Arcade mode, you'll get an option menu and you can disable it there.

And yes the pad is awful, I've started using the thumbstick it's that bad :|
 
Lol I was doing that in training I need a fightpad pronto.

I daren't go online using the default pad I'll get killed.

Oh btw mark the vga cable works fine cheers, is vga or dvi better to use btw ?

Tell me about it, I'm going to be keeping my eyes peeled for the April shipment of Fightpads, seriously need one.

I'd kill for a USB SNES pad that'd work on the 360 :D

Personally I prefer the VGA over DVI/HDMI as it gives a softer picture, the HDMI I'm using at the minute is very harsh, you see every single jaggy clear as day, the VGA being analogue isn't quite so sharp and so takes the edge off. Unfortunately my new telly only has HDMI or Component, so I'm stuck with HDMI, starting to get used to it now though :)

You use your left hand and thumb to control movement right? how can your right hand and thumb press down all 3 buttons at once and a pad!? its must be so hard!

Arcade sticks are in a league of their own

I have both a fightpad and saturn usb pad. I prefer the dpad on the fight pad but the feel of the saturn pad. Though apparently the saturn usb pad wont work on 360, not actually tried mine though so cant confirm this, will try tonight :)
 
Good games, need to get some food.

Kens crossups are ridiculous as Balrog, need to decide on a character to use too the only one I'm half decent at is Balrog been practicing with him for a few days last week. Keep switching characters just a tad too much, I kinda wish Balrog had more options for cancels but his Ultra juggle is good when you get the headbutt in.

Zangief has way too much priority, Sagat is good but Gief is just broken. :/

Need to get used to throw escaping too, I never look out for those. :o

gg's margaret, got some good balrog practice in there. i like to abuse cross-ups vs charge characters since it messes up their charge :p

nice throw breaking reactions too :)

my c.viper really needs work but should hopefully be my next character :D. oh yea and gief is pretty silly...

It's always Ken who gets me with them bloody cross ups I swear, it's so annoying. :(

I thought my throw breaking reactions were pretty bad. :p

Might be on in a bit, gonna make some food then play some Persona 4. (it's rather relaxing in comparison :D)

Edit; I can't believe how badly I ate Hadoukens trying to time the "turn around punch" invulnerability correctly. :p

I rarely get out of them, mostly as I don't pay too much attention to them and completely forget they are in the game so gonna start keeping an eye out. :D

I swear the TAP invulnerability is different to what it was the other day, I was going straight throw fireballs no problem at all, but then again that was a good few days ago since I played. :p

Although I'm not too big a fan of charge characters, Balrog is nice but I'll probably have him as a secondary.
 
Blanka is officially lame :(

If someone picks him i have to fight the urge to reach for the quit button. It's insane, i just beat a 2k+ guile player, sagat player and ryu player and then got whooped by a 300BP blanka, i just can't deal with him at all.
 
I'm logging on now if anyone wants to play. I don't know these fancy combos you guys are talking about so it will just be an old fashioned beatdown :)
