Resident Evil 5 - The Source of All Evil (360 & PS3)

Hey Peeps,

I got my copy today but was wondering if you can do Co-op right from the beginning without doing single player? If so i might wait until my brother gets it so we see everything at the same time ;D

Does anyone know if this is possible and also where is it in the menus as i couldn't see it?

worth 2k a pop. i've had nothing but golden eggs so far :( although i'm not entirely sure how you get eggs. Do they just appear randomly around chickens? I've tried shooting a few but they just die.
 
yeah we scared an egg out of a chicken with our knives. Also i shot a dude and he dropped it really late into the game. 2K isnt as huge as i was hoping. Was hoping it might be stupid money :)

I would also like to know if Co-op can be done right from the beginning.

Yeah, me and a friend just completed it a few minutes ago from the very start over Xbox Live.

Also - who on earth thought cutscene quicktime events were a good idea? Incredibly annoying. Good game though, but the bosses were all, without exception, terrible. Though the general gameplay was good. What was up with the first time fighting the main guy? You just had to hide from him? Worst boss fight ever lol.
 
Recieved my copy yesterday, playing on my own I've now got to chapter 5-3.

All in all it's not bad, starts of great but gets pretty repetative as you go through it. I think the reason for that is as you play you get better weapons and more fluid with the controls yet the enemies don't get particularly hard, and the puzzles are a joke.

It's an OK game, but it definately isn't resident evil, and isn't even close to being as good as Resi 4.

You just have to laugh at the enemy AI, run towards you only to stop wait a while and then finally attack you :-/

i realy enjoyed this played for like 4 hours Co-op with my friend!! had a right blast!! didnt use to be into RE now i like it!!
 
When u complete re5 I know u can replay with all your goodies you ended with, but can I carry those goodies over to another difficulty? So if I finish the game on normal, can I start on hard with all my stuff?
