Police brutality backfires!

like i said payback is a bitch.
you go bully some scrawny kid in school, slap him around a bit...... dont be expecting sympathy if he has an older and tougher brother who gives you a broken nose in return.

Then...

If you go cause trouble with a police officer, don't be expecting sympathy if he has four bigger and tougher fellow officers who give you a broken face in return.

Right? That's how it works? A eye for a bruise, tooth for a cut?

The one jabbing the bloke on the ground with the trunchen got away

There is that yes, however if the other "security" guy had an issue with his partner jabbing away he should have stopped that dude jabbing away, he did not however.

"You there! In the crowd of football fans! Why didn't you prevent your fellow crowd member from throwing that rock at us police officers?! He got away but we're going to break your jaw for not stopping him!"

you there in the crowd is the same as 2 police officers from the same force working together ?

see this is why we dont agree...because you think like that ^^^

Pinning a man to the ground until he can no longer move, and then belting him in the head with a baton?

Is it? That guy looked totally immobile to me. And from the angle of the baton, it seemed that his head was being struck - not his arm.

Can you quote the relevant documentation in the relevant police training manual which states that after securing an individual and pinning them to the ground with the help of four colleagues, it is then correct procedure to repeatedly beat them with a baton?

There's restraint, ie pinning the person, done with any number from 1-4 depending on the person, and then you try pulling a person's arms from in front to behind them when they try to resist, some of the guys we deal with as door staff, are absolute lumps, prop forwards etc, and they are used to that type of resistance, to be honest, i'm suprised they didn't give him a shot of CS first.... Whilst it's kinda amusing to see fans kick off at the use of the baton, given the side handled baton can be used for leverage a lot better than the telescopic asps which the UK cops use, that should have been the first option, if he'd hooked his hands together in front of him, pick him up using two batons take him off the field and deal with him out of sight, as it was, they brought that on themselves, there's a time and a place for most things, and on camera with witnesses is not the time for that one ;)

to be honest it was the coppers fault, if they would have just cuffed him and took him away none of the beatdowns would have happened. four cops on top of 1 on the ground face down and they still had to beat him with a stick.

if you look carefully the bald headed copper actually tells the other idiot copper doing the batoning to stop batoning, im quite sure he was saying something along the lines of " oi what are you doing thats enough". you can see that bald copper give the idiot copper a wtf look after he gave him the first hit, and after the second hit the copper holding the victims legs decides to start too, and moments after the hits stopped the footballer joins in, seriously if it wasnt for that dumb baton copper everhting would have been fine

that one copper was out of order he caused the riot simple as that

I believe, despite their incompetence, they were trying to cuff him - but it is VERY difficult to cuff someone that is resisting.

yes i know, maybe i should have reworded that first bit, what i mean was they could have cuffed him without the beats. i dont think its that difficult for four people to to cuff some one who is already face down on the ground

It is very difficult to resist with 4 fat pigs sitting on top of you
No it isn't. I didn't mean he was resisting 'arrest', I meant he was resisting being cuffed. Locking your arm makes it difficult.

The beats (officially) are to deaden the arm so they can bend it to cuff. (note officially, I think he was just an ****hole).
