Resident Evil 5 - The Source of All Evil (360 & PS3)

29.99 on the high street, mispriced brochure and a price match muhaha
Really enjoying it, blatantly not resident evil tho.

Anyone else having trouble managing with so little inventory space?

Not really, I give Sheva my other guns and I keep tabs on health and ammo. I usually carry my machine gun and pistol around with me and sheva has the rifle and pistol.

give my grenades to her also, the only thing I wish they'd have done is to implement the Attache cases like in Resi 4 (unless they do).

Think im gonna have to check out the demo first, bit late to this one but I was in two minds about res 4. As a huge fan of the first and second games and the in depth story line, puzzle solving and genuine fear as a child, I really wish that the evil of umbrella corp was still lurking in these games, for me when playing res 4 I enjoyed the game but not on the same leval as the original resident evils. Back then the clunky controls added to the games tension, creating a classic survival horror, hopefully this new installment wont disappoint.

Is it sad that one reason i really want to play is to see where the resident evil story line is headed now? lol

If you haven't played Dead Space I would consider that instead of RE5.

Can see Dead Space being the main survival horror until Resident Evil 6. (providing they see sense and go back to making RE scary again|)

I'm playing it on veteran with a mate, which can be frustrating however its good fun when you beat the harder sections. Is that the hardest difficulty? Just got up to the cave section, a few of the bosses annoyed us, the first one we just hid in the bus until the chopper turned up, seemed a bit odd how you don't have to kill him. Then again I'm not sure there was enough ammo to hold him off and the horde of zombies off! I also find it a bit odd how you can run through doors and escape from some of them, I know there are parts this is meant to happen but we've got out of situations by just running off through locked doors.

Well i couldnt be bothered going far afield or waiting for it so i picked up the special edition PS3 version for £50 yesterday! :-o
Anyway, played it for 20mins, got annoyed, and havnt touched it since.:(

Just started this today on normal difficulty, and reached the start of chapter 2-2.

So far, I think the game has been ok. I've got past both levels from the demo so glad they are out the way. I've been playing nothing but SF4 past 2 weeks but I picked the controls up quick for this. So far not that difficult at all, I sold all the 'treasures' I picked up and upgraded all the guns as much as I could. I will hopefully put an hour or two into this every evening and clear it within the week.

Is it a good idea to sell the treasures you find or keep them, do they unlock anything later on?
Any tips on what gun to upgrade?
