***OFFICAL*** Left 4 Dead Thread!

Can't remember who I played with last night. I remember Sharpy was there and Tranquil.Rage... but anyway. Awesome game. I think the survivors only made it through 1 map each, infected were pretty damn ruthless. Very close game, one of the best I've played recently even the we ended up losing in the end !!!

It was quite a fun game. Some annoying moments of "I don't believe it!" But we ended up winning, so I can live with that :)
 
aye have played a few games recently where its won or lost one one person running off or a better tank player on one side.

I do love the game since the patch games seem much much more tense now, the biggest change by far is that the tank is now back as a badass threat :)

AI director does seem to have a laugh still sometimes by having one team struggling for supplies while another gets aid kits and mollies at every corner :)

I agree the Tank is so much tougher now. I found it quite easy wiping out the survivours even when they had the upgraded weapons. Which before if they had the upgraded weapons they were hard to kill.
 
TBH Dingle that was just you :P

That was an awesome game last night, can't believe the brutality of the infected from both teams. Every map as survivors was a butt clenching adventure!
 
I'm almost certain the Tank used to be able to catch up to green survivors.

You can barely move when you're on fire + getting shot at. :(


Maybe I'll just need to accept the fact that I suck. Plus I'm not very good with the Tank...



Edit: The Smoker's badass since the update though. :cool:

The tank could never keep up with green survivors. That's what your secondary fire is for :)

The Tank really needs other infected to help slow the survivors down. If yo can catch up with them in this way you can really rip through them.

Yeah I used to like the smoker before apart from he was a little weak like he was a balloon ready to pop but now he actually takes some hits. I wish he could pull people through fire tho instead of his tongue releasing as soon as it touches fire.
