Thorny subject really, because a disability can count towards the execution of the job role. This is why I don't get this whole "equality" thing. But i'll not get started on that rant :)

Either way though, the man is a pleb.
 
I'm baffled at both the fact he is even trying to claim for this, and that he actually believes he could do the job to any extent :/

I have a long-term illness that would come under the DDA, and if I were to try to work right now, I'd need "reasonable" adjustments. The emphasis is on reasonable though. In my mind, it's reasonable in a new job if you are still able to perform the duties you were hired to do.

Most disabled people are reasonable about what they can and can't do, and they will apply for jobs accordingly.

I generally agree and most people who are seeking employment who have disabilities aren't anywhere near as bad as Mr Suleman's, stupidity not withstanding.
 
But the former bus driver claims his disability and ethnicity ought to have made him the 'preferred candidate' out of the 1,092 who applied.

the plonker sounded like he expected a taxi to take him everywhere and to wait aswell, lol mi5 may aswell just hire a taxi driver on the meter and save themself a salary:D

That he is disabled is just an excuse, they really didn't want to employ him because of his ethnic origin. ;)

he would never notice hes beeing followed! a man with crutches or a wheel chair blends in so easily!
 
Great read for a Wednesday morning, this brought a big smile to my face.

He insists that the role - 'all about observing people or places either on foot or by vehicle' - could have been adapted so he could track targets by train, coach or taxi.

I like the way the Mail throws in the fact that he's a Muslim even though that has pretty much no bearing on the story, just to further inspire revulsion in the readership...

The best bit is how a number of you morons took it to heart and felt the need to have a spontaneous rant about a minority of Islamic extremists. Clever.
