I will play if there is a spare slot. I don't know nothing about no spawning grenades, have a low rank, rarely stand still for long and can't use a sniper rifle to save my life.

Face-shotgun is far more useful than a sniper rifle in a clan match.

im not brilliant , i normally just stick with the standard rifle and perhaps medic class , anything else like the shotgun im useless with

Ive left a message over on the AVForums, aint sure if im allowed to directly link to it but if they do accept Ive basically said 15 players max a side which should open some more spaces. If a lot more people from here want to play then Im sure the limit could be raised as their clan looks quite large.

Sniper rifle is very good for the bomb planting misson, 1 shot kills on everyone apart from soldier unless headshot, you just get into posistion so that you can cover the area were it needs to be planted and shoot those who are trying to plant/defuse them, ive done that several times.

Oh i don't disagree that it is useful for some modes, on an open map it'd be very useful for assassination and capture and hold. Problem is, on more closed maps or in other game modes it isn't very useful for objectives, whereas the shotgun is a great all-rounder, useful in all situations.

When i said a shotgun is more useful than a sniper rifle i meant it in the sense that we will need more shotgun players more often than we will need a sniper.

Got 2 other responses for clan matches in the AVForums thread. One being Eurogamer, posted on thier K2 Clan thread about a match and they seem intrested.

I'd say we're definitely interested, though we may struggle to field that many soldiers... How about you come back to us with a date and time, but give us at least a week in order to get some players together, and we'll see what we can do? If it seems possible we'll do it, if we're stil struggling maybe push it back another week to find more players?

So shall we sort out a date that is best for all of us? Hopefully they will be able to find enough players as we are on 15 now!

we will need more shotgun players more often than we will need a sniper.

Which isnt a good thing, some people hate the assualt class, due to the rl and gl but i think the shotgun is far worse.

i don't signing up for this depending on when the clan match is on. I can't say im that great at killzone from time to time i switch from medic, engineer and the assault class depending on what the objective is.

fine by me and i would only use assault class for the propaganda missions as the boost and armour can be quite useful, and a sniper who has spot and mark and a good view can make a vital difference in a match,
im usually a medic with medpak/boost or fixer if its needed for ammo dumps and such

I agree about the spotter thing, it'd be exceptionally handy to have a sniper finding sneaky enemies and reporting their locations back to the rest of the squad.
