ebay, i'm being scammed

He is a very...Disturbed person. I'v got it under controll. He has another account, which is a joke name which i won't say. He has bidded on my of my other items trying to annoy me. I am not going to **** of ebay btw, because in future i will demand cash like you guys said...I just never thought.

The guy has several ebay accounts and is a fraud, it's as simple as that. I am wondering, what would happen if he opened a dispute? Who will ebay favour? I am worried he may scam me by winning the dispute and not sending the xbox back!

Weather or not you did write down the serial down tell the guy you did. I doubt he'll even try anything if he things you can prove he's a scammer.
 
Well, he has not opened a dispute and has left me negative feedback saying

CONMAN BEWARE faulty xbox THREATENING EMAILS nothing but hassle TOTAL IDIOT

Also, i sent him this email yesterday.

Dear (I won't name and shame)

Hi Ben. You are welcome to bring the Xbox back to my address where you picked it up from, and you are entitled to a full refund as long as the Xbox is the original Xbox that you collected. When you arrive and before you leave, we will check all the components inside and the serial number. The Xbox we sent you was in perfect condition, with no "Rattling" noise. If we have any reason to believe you are no genuine then we will involve the police.

He replied:

Dear chris_uk333,

Right first of all i want to know where the recipt is that you said you have posted second of all i know the law like the back of my hand so threatening me with the police does not scare me, and thirdly why would i make it up about this rattle, you are making me very angry now bacause you are calling me a liar also i dont take kindly to threats. You are not the one in the position to dictate to me what to do. Check my feedback do you see any problems from sellers? NO i am genuine. I suggest you sit and think about your next email because i am at my wits end with you all now

Anyway yeah, thats what i am dealing with here. He has 98% feedback, but has other accounts.
 
You've given your ebay name so easy to find this guy on the bay even though you didn't name and shame :).

Anyway, looks fairly straightforward to me (albeit unfortunate) - ask this guy to verify the serial number and get the unit back and make sure its the same one you sold and also verify the fault ie make sure its not been damaged and is still covered by the warranty. Then refund him and pursue a Warranty claim.

Hope you get it sorted.
 
Yeah i have, and he just ignored me as you can see. I told him he can bring it back, and as long as it's the same serial number i would refund him. He is weird, he has no intention on bringing it back because i have told him he can. You can not win with him.
 
man id just tell him to do one and ignore him. people like that irritate me so much. blah to them. surely slandering your name via ebay is warrant of legal action lol. tell him to look that up on the back of his hand..
 
I'm sure for him to obtain a refund via paypal he'll have to return the item to you whatever the condition its in via trackable means, DO NOT give him the recipt.

Get the xbox back and deal with it via microsoft your self, since its only 4 weeks old the original box should have the serial number that matches the xbox it came with.

Well my playstation 2 box has a number on the box thats also on the console, im sure others are the same.
