Things to do in and around Las Vegas

Got the Encore booked this year, stayed at Wynn last year.

Cant wait, and tbh the price was more than acceptable.

How much? I'm taking the missus this August for a surprise 21st, and the last couple of times I've been I've really fancied staying at the Wynn.

From what I hear, if you contact the hotels directly to book, there are huge discounts to be had.

Went to LV on honeymoon for 10 days. Fantastic place, several days were spent just walking around visiting the hotels and the various things they offer (1 place had baby tigers when I was there), went to the gun shop, went to see 'O', went on a Heli tour of the canyon (may not be the real canyon you would see on a bus tour but was still a fantastic experience).

Also there are a couple of outlets where you can go and get cheap clothes, you can almost make a day out of just going to these.

I can't wait to go back one day, will probably wait for a few years till they have finished the City Centre they were building next to the Bellagio.

i stayed in the Bellagio, while really good I think most of the other hotels looked as good. Thats something else to do, my wife would have happily watched the fountains for hours (they were good, watch in the evening with a nice cold bottle of beer).

Oh and had a quick round of 9 holes at the Callaway centre.

There is so much to do that anyone that says they are bored there must be mad :)

Only thing that annoyed me was the damn xxx card people and the people that keep bugging you asking if you want to see a show/free meal etc etc.

It depends really, I booked mine through Expedia. 8 nights in May including flights £750, not bad for a brand new 5 star Hotel. When we looked to book through the hotel they quoted us $2300 just for the room.

If you wait there are some special offers it depends on your nerve and if you can get flights cheap.

Used Expedia all 3 times when going to Vegas and I am very happy with the prices and service.
