BMW Audio what are you using?

a speculator, dabbling in futures, yet believes in the alien overloads or whatever.
how does your beliefs effect your 'gambling'?

They don't do any harm. Many alternative views suggest that past, present and future all co-exist simultaniously. However generaly in our day to day consciousness our minds are limited to the present moment only.

some of the german tuning kits are rather nice. in fact all of the main bmw ones (hamann, breyton, ACS) are :o
they make the car stand out a bit more from the standard cars. you should really get some performance mods too though

ABT do lovely things to VAG cars..

should really do some performance mods? its a bleeding M3!! if he isnt happy with how it is (in terms of power) off of the factory line, then maybe he should be buying something else :p

I need to get bluetooth fitted to my E46 as I use my car work atm & need to receive calls.

Is it easier to get Parrot kit or is there a BMW bluetooth add-on for the 16:9 I can get, anyone know?

sorry, i was referring to ACS mods in general. if you get the bodywork, you should get some hardware tuned too ;)

This thread is hilarious, unless posts have been deleted that mean some things have been taken out of context it seems like easyrider posts up asking for help, people try and help him, and he just slags them all off.

The BMW bluetooth is lovely because it's integrated but it's not brilliant - the sound quality on Pete's is... hmm, not amazing.

Plus it costs a fortune and you need to rip the car to bits to install the loom and stuff.

Thats pretty much what happened but it was 2 years ago!

Yup, LCI iDrive is the shizzle. I've just had my version updated but don't have the HDD. It can be added easily enough but I have a MP3 functionality from the HU anyway as well as an aux plug in for an mp3 player.

New iDrive also plays AVIs stored on the HDD from memory :)

I'll take a look as I would prefer OEM, but may just opt for Parrot if its cheaper and carry it over to another vehicle. thanks

...he headunit doesnt provide the amping, there's a BMW amp in the boot behind the changer. Replaced the changer with a Sony MP3 changer and using a ibus -> sony interface. It works for the most part, although it doesnt allow album skip like the sony headunit would.
I'm very interested in this, didn't know it was possibly. So I can just swap out my BMW multichanger for a Sony one using a new cable and can play mp3 cd's?

The good thing about the Alpine MP3 changer is that it has the same case/brackets as the OEM BMW changer, as Alpine make that as well. So it fits perfectly. :)

Excellent, think i'll do that.
[LAZY]Does anyone know what cable I need and how easy it is to replace? Does it need to go all the way to the HU?[/LAZY]
