Will Newcastle still be a big club when they are relegated?

Stadium capacity has ALWAYS been the key to making money in football and Newcastle have an advantage on what, all but maybe 5-6 other clubs in the country.
Yes it's all about capacity. Ticket prices and attendance has nothing to do with it...

Neither does which division you play in, prize money, clever transfer dealings and wage structure, TV money, sponsorship, shares, shirt sales, etc....?

You need your head checked to think relegation would be good for us, it could finish off the club.

If you look at it as a dying relative and want to end their pain then that's fine, if you want to keep it in your life then turning off the life support when its in a coma will no doubt see the end of the sorry story.

Well yes, I think my attitude shows I've grown tired of caring. Switch off that life support machine.

In addition, the only football in the world I'd kill to see again is Leeds back in the Champion's League. Everything about it is fantastic.

Please never let Leeds get into Europe again. I've never been so ashamed to be English when Leeds came over to play 1860 in Munich when I lived there. Easily the worst away fans I ever saw at the Olympiastadium - it was like one big episode of the Jeremy Kyle show. Big fat bellied drunken skinhead racists all over the city, I had a ticket to the game but didn't even bother watching it - I left the ground in disgust (OK I had toothache as well, but I still left in disgust ;)).

Sorry - I'm not banning you

A disgruntled Newcastle United fan has failed in a bid to get himself banned from St James' Park by invading the pitch.

Kevin Southerton, 26, ran on to the field after Djibril Cisse scored for Sunderland in February's Tyne-Wear derby.

He told police who pursued and arrested him: "I hope I get banned. I'm sick of watching this."

Although Newcastle magistrates could have imposed a three-year banning order, they opted to fine him £200.

LOL!! :D:D

Imagine being sentenced to watch Newcastle!! Poor Guy....

I don't think it will make too much of a difference providing the supporters stay loyal which I believe they will. Also prices might be reduced so no chance of attendances dropping in that case.

I would imagine that they would come straight back up to the Premiership IF they could hold on to the core of the squad.

Obviously you werent around in the late 80's then? Loyal supporters? They will get around 30k at matches.

As for holding on to the squad in the championship? Get real. And why would you it quite frankly rubbish.
