Get some pics up as you clear the back, could be pretty big.
There could be a epic MM thread of all the crap being sold LOL

yep, do you have much work to do sp interior related?
You are going to need a skip or two.
...binmen won't take that lot!
Congrats on the new place; just what were the previous owners doing in the back yard, and why did the landlord let them get away with it?
So have you bought the place or are you renting it? If you are renting it, shouldn't the landlord pay for sorting the garden and building?
I would have thought the same. Is there anything to stop him kicking you out after a year (or however long the minimum contract is) when you've transformed the garden and house?
Wow, that rear garden really does look like a zoo!![]()

So you rented from this guy before and had serious issues with the property physically falling apart around you, he spent two years dithering and eventually decided to kick you out by selling it to his son? And now you've decided to rent from him again? Are you mad?!![]()

Nothing says quality like brick effect wall coverings!More pics on flickr

Weren't you the guy who had 'Dave' a Lister engine which you ran on cooking oil to power your house electrics? - or am I thinking of someone else?
As for the house, I'll look out for you in something like 'Cash In The Attic'![]()

Glad you've finally got somewhere, but I have to ask...
In all those years living in cramped and / or collapsing flats, with no action from your landlord, why on earth didn't you look elsewhere for accomodation? I don't know where exactly you are, but I've lived in four different cities and I've never had to look for more than a few days to find a decent place...
Why is it you had to go through the same bloke (his son, whatever) rather than trying out the market?
looks horrible. how much you paying rent for that?

Sod all until it's ready to be moved into.![]()

Maybe i'm just being negative, but this still looks all wrong to me. Why should you spend a lot of time and effort doing up a place that's not even yours? You're saving the landlord a huge amount of his money, then once you've got it nice he's going to start charging you a fortune to live in it. Not only that but what's to stop him turning round and saying "thanks very much" and kicking you out? After all he could probably get 25% more rent out of some other schmuck once it's all cleared. He should have sorted it out for you before renting it; for god's sake it's his job as the landlord. It's not even in a liveable state judging from the pictures.
I'm honestly not trying to rain on anyones parade but it really looks like this could end badly. My instincts are telling me this is all wrong and the landlord is simply taking advantage of your optimism and willingness ot get your hands dirty for him. From my experiences of landlords they are never to be trusted and will always pull a fast one if they see an opportunity to cut a corner or get more money. Having said that, good luck with the project though, and i hope it all works out for you.![]()
thats not an answer fella
how much once he starts asking for money?
