Security Alerts - Belfast

Dunno about Belfast but there's apparently a bit of trouble in Lurgan. My mate has just told me the hoods are trying to hijack cars in his area. It looks like they've closed the M1 too.

It's a Monday, obviously none of these worthless cretins work for a living.

Yeah, the chap up at the butchers was just telling me there's a burnt bus, lorry and van about the place from what his customers were saying. Just dumped and torched to cause trouble......because stopping people getting home in rush hour traffic is really going to endear people to their cause.
 
Easter used to be a classic time for trouble to flare up but the past 10 years have been fairly quiet.

It's all down to the arrests for the murders of the two soldiers and the police officer. One of the men who has been charged is from near where I live and is apparently on hunger strike. All the youths see him as some sort of martyr and hence cause all this trouble.
 
Bah, only back from dropping my wee sister down at the Fire Station for her Duke of Edinburgh thing, got pulled over by a police road check. Fantastic time to discover my drivers license wasn't in my backpack as I'd previously thought. :o
 
Springfield road is closed off, andersonstown road is closed off, was a dodgy car out the front of stormont as well.
 
Im glad i've been in the house all day, so havn't got caught up in this. Seems really out of the blue, even with the events scuzi talks about.
 
A few meat wagons have went past my house in the past few minutes heading toward the A1 at Banbridge at a brave rate of knots.
 
Well I just sent the GF to the chippy on the stewardstown road cause I can't be assed driving, she'll tell me if she sees anything :P
 
Any other country these muppets would be arrested as the chav that they are...
But cos their in ireland they get to call them selves "freedom" fighters and get near enoth diplomatic imunity....

And whats the guy hunger striking for?? Being caught?

No idea, im just ranting , being a ****ty day, looks like im going to be made unemployed at the end of the month due to the new retarded self centred executive

God these people annoy the crap out of me. They have no right to dissrupt communities and cause so much trouble. If anyone says they are political protestors thats BS, they are scum.

I couldnt care less where the border lies or which country has which town.
