When my team is struggling, switching to a 4-5-1 type system usually works

Even though it means playing a striker on the right wing but still gets ratings of around 8 :confused:

Keirrison didn't take long to settle for me, though for that money I think you should have bought Marquinhos if possible. He is the better striker and i got him for 12M 3 seasons in. Both work very well together though

I get this too, but I generally have to pay a fair bit over the odds anyway for some reason. A player worth 5M I have to pay about 8.5M for, player worth 10M about 15M for etc.

You'll very rarely, if ever, pay a player's value for him. He'll have a contract for another 2-3 years perhaps and so the team don't have to sell him as his contract doesn't end soon.

I did assume that was pretty normal. Just gotta keep looking for my regen bargains

a lot of values are now based on contracts aswell as stats

Toon team struggling with

G Russi Cardozo (Subs O Martins)

Marchinious Schenridian (Some young french star) Barton T Neves ( Subs Jonas, R Wallace, Sunny, etc)

Flipie S Taylor Collo D Santon (Subs: Martin Jirnaerk, Bassong, Enrique etc)

Ben Foster/ Tim Krul

Finished 8th last year, lost to Spurs and Chelski, form pre-season is awful

Question about under 18's

I have a shed load of under 18's that i dont want to keep, once there current youth contracts run out do they decide to leave if you dont offer them a new contract? im sure thats what used to happen but dont remember for sure.
It will be cheaper for me to let them stay until the end of there contracts and pay them £55 a week, than it will be to pay the compensation figures mentioned for letting them go now on a free :eek:

I think they can leave if they want to. Players under 21 (I think its 21) can leave on a free at the end of their contract if you don't offer them a new contract equal to or better than their current contract. When you release someone on a free, you are just paying up their salary in one go rather than every week. So although its more in the short term its the same amount of money whichever way you look at it. You could always loan them out to clubs willing to pay 100% of their wages for their final months at the club and when they return from loan, just let their contracts expire and release them then. Or just try and sell them off, even if its for a pittance, just to get them off the payroll.

As I'm manager of Brazil, i've been asking Kaka (who has retired from international football) to return for Brazil, have done about 9 times i'd say, just asked him again, and he accepted!!!

Won the league last night and reached the final of the Scottish Cup

Never bothered playing a second season in any FM games before

So we will see this time.

He's crap in 2020!

In fact I'm having real trouble finding any good Brazilians apart from the old guard for my national team atm.

I noticed this too, barring one or two decent regens, Brazils youth really isn't very good. Spains is much better, Germanys too.

He's fine in mine atm, still one of best AMC's, for Brazil anyway.

Hate the fact Vagner Love is old though, relying on younger/crapper players

And yeah the brazilian youth springs up one or two, but in the positions it doesn't matter. All the super regens are from Russia, Spain, Ukraine and all other random, random countries.
