ok, sorry.
I had a 4870X2. I sold it because I didn't need the power.
So far this month I've changed my GPU twice it has cost me £10
good effort. How did you manage that? Really good resale prices, or what?
My 280 died, I bought a 260 to replace it, then bought a 4890 to replace that (because I felt miffed about the new cards appearing a week after I'd bought a new card). The 4890 has now gone back because it was too loud and I am keeping the 260; end result = return postage cost of £10.

hmmm £195 only £25 more than in the US. can almost live with that 
but with so many 1gb models of the 4870 bellow £150 i think i would just go for them..
