UEFA Champions League QF L1 - 7/8 April ***Spoilers***

I'd rather all other English teams crashed and burned to be honest, but that's just me. :p

Hehe, I always want the english competitor to do well. A bit like in formula one, if one english driver crashes out, I cheer another english driver on. I do the same with most sports come to think of it :D

What the best fans in the world don't sing when they are losing? Who'd have thought...

Best fans in the world? Don't make me laugh.

I went to the second leg at Stamford bridge last year and your away fans were a joke, even the Chelsea fans were louder and we're admittedly, not very loud.

Who'd have thought 35k fans could out sing 3k :rolleyes:

@mrg. I think he's a Manc actually.

Ah, that's different though, I'll support English golfers, tennis players, F1 drivers etc. but team sports are different.

Bitter about your own side's non-existant Euro campaigns?

I suppose every midweek fixture would pang then. :p

I guess it is bitterness, but even if my team got through I'd still want all the English teams to lose.

Not for me, representing England is representing England to me. But everyone is different :)

Were they really representing England though? A Spanish and Dutch manager, a Russian, Frenchman and Spaniard scoring the goals.

Edit- Drogba's not French is he, can't remember where he's from.

I've got to say, I cant remember a better performance against us at Anfield. There was only one tactician that showed up today and that was Hiddink, he got everything right and our boys didn't show up to try and stop it.

I actually dont feel as bad as I thought I would because Chelsea thoroughly nullified our whole setup. But the real disappointment for me was that our big players didn't turn it on today when we needed them. Thought Alonso failed at doing his job today when people around him needed it, awful performance.

Aurelio, Riera and Lucas where simply terrible today. I hate always going on about Lucas because I dont think its fair on him being thrown into a team where he's expected to play well above what hes capable of, but Rafa needs to stop playing him.
