ATI 9.4

If you extract the drivers once downloaded, then do the Device Manager, Update Driver, and point it to the extracted 9.4's, the driver will install for Win7 apparently.

I tried this but it said best driver currently installed. Which folder did you use exactly?

looks to me like these are the exact same as the Beta version becuse the strings are the same aswell as the new ati overdrive image on screen when applying autotune..

ATI are really slipping with there driver releases there getting more **** by the minute.
what do they do in 4weeks sleep for 3 and work on the drivers for 1 ? lol

I havn't tried it, im just going to stick with the 9.3's as theres nothing new in these by the sounds of it, so im guessing they are mainly an official set for the 4890's, as they never release them in the first week of the month.

Nope, just downloaded it and tried installing it. Catalyst Install Manager suggests that everything went OK, but checking the Rivatuner gadget shows I'm still using the WDDM driver.

Back on 9.3 until they fix it, I guess.

You have to do the driver via the Device Manager, once you've ran the installer and only got the CCC installed, go Device Manager, Update Driver, Have Disk, then point it to the 9.4 folder, installs driver that way, just bit of a pain. :)

how are they dodgy? they dont improve FPS in a benchmark, maybe they are more stable... maybe they fix more bugs. maybe the drop in FPS makes that game playable with no errors.
