Street Fighter (SFIV, SSFIV, HDR)

lol I made some CRIMINAL comebacks against e36 earlier as Ryu. It's nice to play a character that has good cross ups.

Sagat vs Sagat is so bloody boring!! I can't stick to my fireball and block jump in game either :(

cheers.

i saw you doing that with the old ex ball but decided to play my game and see how it went :)

the ultra i really need to work on but with the old blanka its very obvious

gg's anyway and as you said playing is what makes us improve even if were getting whupped :D

Was really good fun, your Blanka is a lot better than you think :)

A few pointers though:

1- Use a cross up when up close rather than DF HP, such as j.MK -> c.MK -> electric
2- Careful with your EX ball, I like to bait them so they get wasted then start up the fireball zoning.
3- Use your Ultra when I'm in the air, up close, rather than when I'm far away.

Is there any way to block them cross ups? It's infuriating sometimes. I wasn't happy with the way I was playing in that session, I couldn't even do some simple moves and ended up doing ultra's out of frustration, but there's no excuse for losing some of them rounds :o

I'm free all fri/sat/sun so we have to do it again soon. :D

Cheers for the games Kree.
Can I ask you to spar sometime soon - but if you could play with Blanka most matches I'd appreciate it. I never get to play a decent Blanka fighter, and really don't know how to go about them.

I'm not scared of people using macros as it just means they are **** at the game anyway.

Doubt focus cancelling would work properly with it too, although I guess it could but still if they really require macros to do the moves then I doubt they could even get a focus cancel to work properly in order to program the thing to begin with.

Have to agree with you there, using macros will make you lazy and I'd be pretty confident any decent/good player will probably beat you regardless of some macros at hand.

Also I always get the feeling the types who use these sort of controllers/macros care more about winning than enjoying the game.

Half the fun for me is learning combos and trying to pull them off quickly and correctly in a match. As said, a decent player will be able to pull off most combos quite easily at will anyway. At least if you perform a long combo manually, you have the option to stop half way through if it's not hitting your opponent. I can imagine lower skilled players who use these will just keep spamming the biggest combo that they have even when it isn't 'safe' to do so. If I were to come across any players that do this, I would just treat them like any sterotypical Ken player who spams fierce dragon punches.
