Everytime I watch a police video the criminal always seems to be of ethnic origin for some reason.
Obviously not ALL the time though
Growing up with a lot of these types of Scum I know exactly how weak they are when alone. This is why decent people have to change there mind set & attack back.
Chavs don't go to the gym & train regularly they smoke drink & take drugs & then doss about. Be Fit, strong & straight & attack the little **** ants.

Yeah...I lived near a town with people like that...Kind of annoying
Luckily I never really ran into trouble, so I don't know how I would react in all honesty.

So what about people who've lost their eyes/have deformed faces due to being brave and 'helping out' in these kind of situations?
It's all very well acting like Rambo on a forum but I'd rather not suffer for the rest of my entire existence over one stupid act of 'bravery'.

Its not snidey at all. That wasn't my intention. Fact is you're encouraging someone to risk their life over such a situation.
No one can say what they'd do in this kind of incident until they're actually there. Adrenalin and fear will dictate their actions and its easy to type anything sitting behind a keyboard.
To be honest I agree with him completely and while it is up to the individual, given the average age of people posting here I think the advice being bandied about is completely out of order.
Fact is, in the heat of the moment I dont know what I would do, if he died and I had not helped out that would be hard to live with, knowing that I could have done something to detract them from killing him.
10 years ago my parents were walking home from the pub when they saw a lad kicking another lad on the ground, my dad jumped in and gave him a hiding and the lad on the floor was pretty beat up and he had lost his glasses in the fight so he had no chance, the lad who my dad hit was walking off saying he was going to come and find him with his mates and shoot him.
Get anyone on their own and they dont want to know.

You are right but unfortunetly you have overlooked the Fact that I have been in this situation more than once & didn't act like a girl & go running for a hidey hole. There are people that know me irl & I stand by All I post.
You're right Malc - each to their own. You have to remember that not everyone on this forum is 6'+ and physically strong. It is easy to be dominant, and physically confident when you're built, but the demographic of this forum doesn't necessarily lend itself well to that.
I understand that daz but that is why I encourage Everybody to stand up & be counted, Safety in numbers & all that.

So? If you are that tough (I use that word loosely), then why brag about it on a forum?
How is not getting involved acting like a girl? Most smart people wouldn't get involved. I'd have to be extremely stupid to confront someone with a knife unless I wanted to live out the rest on my days on a drip in a hospital bed.
If someone is drunk, then I'd especially take care not to go near them because in that state they really don't give a **** and you'd have more luck surviving running infront of a moving car. Police are trained for months to take down these kinds of people and you're suggesting some randomer on the street is going to be able to achieve it after a few seconds of your 'advice'?
The problem is that when fighting, a lot of people will simply freeze. I do a bit of full contact kickboxing, and the first few times it's very difficult to actually fight. Your average bloke on the street doesn't know how to punch, kick or defend themselves, and storming into a fight will likely end up in them getting a beating.
How have I bragged ? All I have done is Truthfully answer, don't put a Dude down for being honest. I really think you are just being petty now so I think I will leave you to it.

Or not. You're not being honest, you're just pointlessly questioning why no-one who isn't built of muscle doesn't get involved in a fight like you do (as if you already didn't know why).
It is bragging because its clearly about man-points and bravery. All this crap about standing up for what's right is nonsense and what you're posting is irresponsible. Standing up for what's right involves phoning the police and letting them deal with it.
If you are so tough, then you should be able to deal with the odd semi-flaming on a forum so why you're complaining about me countering your posts isn't understandable. As said before, the absolute majority of people do not know how to fight.

i grew up with a lot and they werent weak alone but they wouldnt take on more than one person unless they looked weak.

he mainly just stole motorbikes back when i knew him which was a few years before that story but you get an idea of the sort of scum that lived around me and who were my friends since i was a toddler.

i had to much of a conscience to turn out like the people i grew up with did and got out of the area when i was 18 but my parents still live there and my brother and sister dont live to far from them so i still get filled in on what all my old friends are upto
they are fit enough to out run the police though its not like they are lazy slobs.

I have read the thread through. All you've seemed to have done is play down the dangers if knives and wonder why everyone doesn't join together in some sort of instant justice league.
Your posts deserve to be criticised because it feels like you're putting everyone else down for not being some kind of action hero (i.e. the little girl comment). Not only that but fighting solves nothing anyway; I managed to work that out at school and I have no respect for people who go on and on about their tough guy fighting anecdotes.
