A number of business leaders who would normally have been in the World Trade Center,
were instead at a meeting hosted by Warren Buffett on September 11th at Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha

That group included Anne Tatlock, CEO of Fiduciary Trust Inc.,
company that occupied five floors on or above the 90th floor of the south tower

(This is the same Air Force Base that bush would fly to later that day. It has an underground command center.)

San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown admitted to having received a warning from
what he described as his airport security late Monday evening, just hours before the attack

On 9/11/01, Jim Pierce, cousin of President Bush, was scheduled to attend a conference
on the 105th floor of the South Tower, where his company's
New York offices were based. But the conference was moved across the street
to the Millennium Hotel, because, the story goes, the group was too large


Another group of people that received warnings in advance of the attack were employees of Odigo
Two employees received e-mail messages two hours before the first World Trade Center assault, predicting the attack

So many cancelled its unreal..

If you google it, theres tons of reports of cancelled meetings and ancedotal evidence of cancelled meetings, unfortunatly theres no control sample to compare this against, I'm sure with a building so large and so much going on a lot of meetings would have been cancelled as part of routine, and its impossible to judge how many of these reports are true... still theres a large enough number of reports to throw up questions.

Well... three. I'd say that's perfectly possible without a crackpot explanation. And I don't believe any of this without proper sources.

There are airport security warnings all the time. San Francisco is 3,000 miles away from New York. Why do you say this is connected to the disaster?

I travel to florida 4 times a year and never heard a warning, have you?

And The washingtonpost news paper is not a source?

to rroff and deuse, you're both in denial, it's a human condition when something apparently unbelievable occurs. I don't blame you, many years ago I read a moon landings conspiracy website and fell for it. I then spent probably 50 hours doing actual research, I'm kicking myself for being so stupid.

I also think you're right to think the US gov. should not be trusted, JFK, weapons of mass destruction and countless others are clear examples of how the US government is ceratinly not fully honest.

Step away from the "facts" by "esteemed" organisations you've read on the web from both sides.

Switch on your brain and ask yourself honestly, were those large planes flying at 550mph simply a cover up for a controlled demolition? If Bush and others orchestrated the whole mess, wouldn't two planes flying into the twin towers killing hundreds be enough of a reason for them to retaliate? Did they need to demolish the buildings or did they simply fall from the structural intergrity failure caused by the planes and mavity taking effect?

I take it you have not read the whole thread?
we are talking about the towers free falling or not
not about planes or anything else.

Its all about theories who is right and who is wrong..
 
Have you guys seen some of the polls conducted? A recent poll in Germany found that around 58% of respondents believe the US Government was behind the attacks. The results from Finland would also shock any conspiracy basher with 37% of respondents thinking the same. An Ipsos poll in Canada in 2006 also found that 22% of people thought "influential Americans" were behind the attacks.

These are pretty massive numbers considering the mainstream media blackout on pretty much anything other than the official version.

My feeling is this will become the next operation Northwoods. Anyone who questions the official version will be ridiculed, though in decreasing numbers as time goes on, until eventually something concrete is released which proves what happened. For those who don't know about Operation Northwoods, it was a plan by the US Gov to go terrorist on their own people in order to justify a war against Cuba. Here are just a few things that the US Government were prepared to do at the time.....

"We could blow up a US ship in Guantanamo Bay and blame Cuba"
"We could develop a Communist Cuban terror campaign in the Miami area"
"It is possible to create an incident which will demonstrate convincingly that a Cuban aircraft has attacked and shot down a chartered civil airliner enroute from the United States to Jamaica, Guatemala, Panama or Venezuela"

You can guess what would've happened to someone back then who proclaimed that the Government was willing to slaughter its own...
