Maybe read a bit further than World of warcraft rather than make such stupid comments.
Amazing really how narrow-minded people can be. Blizzard is a business, they produce a product they sell it, they make money SHOCK HORROR !!!!! I dont get why people have to feel like thats some sort of criticism ? Maybe it’s a jealousy factor....
Either way back on topic, our guild have had a few people leave due to being bored of the game. Hopefully this patch will ignite a spark of life back into the game. The Argent Dawn thing looks pretty cool. Although some of my guildies have been un-impressed with it.

Nice, i might actually get to see naxx. I play casually now and so no guild wants me ( on doomhammer anyway ) that clears naxx regularly. They want only uber geared people to carry alts it seems.
PUG's are a nightmare to get into, no one wants to take someone who doesnt already have the achievement. Nice of them
Now Ulduar is out maybe the obcession for only taking people to Naxx who dont need it anymore will die down
It seems that unless you have a guild to rely on its nigh on impossible to gear up a toon now in naxx, while it was new people were less demanding in who they took. I spent 4 hours last trying to get in on a run, to no avail.
The laughable thing is that 90% of pugs for heroics want people in full naxx 25man gear now! for "speed runs" so even getting heroic gear can be an uphill struggle.
The thing i do find funny is that to complain about this usually results in L2P insults and so on... how is my skill level even coming into question? if no one will allow me to try then how the hell do i impress them. Its a soul destroying cycle in a evening, and when i try to start my own PUG im laughed at with "lol you dont have achievement... trying to get carried eh!?" and so on.
Cant you find other people in the same situation as yourself?
Terrible trailer. Terrible models (come on, the models for the unique characters are well over five years old now) and terrible voice acting. Certain characters got a facelift since TBC, so why not Thrall, Jaina, Brann and the others?
It's not a patch on the Zul'aman trailer, and where's all the Lovecraftian inspiration that Blizzard seemed to be sticking with for Ulduar?

I belive this is in Blizzards 'To Do' pile. Along with the new dances.
So pretty much at the bottom of the pile. TBH i dont really see the need for the new models for existing NPC's. Especially Thrall et all. Must have been months since I last went all the way to see the bloke.

Way to not have a clue what you're talking about. Its a content patch, a free expansion of sorts. And tbh, I'd rather buy the 2 current expansions for £10 each than the entire game go stale within the first 6 months of release.
meh, so this one's free. doesn't make it any less of another screw over for all the players. some games give their content updates and expansions away free. preferring to make their money by keeping players paying subs.
it still does not detract from the fact that any new players who want to play the full game have to buy not just the game but the expansions as well!

Is T7/Naxx 10 gear required to go Uld 10?
We've pretty much one shotted three wings of Naxx so far over three nights, my tank gear is still 40% crap and not had any trouble with patch etc.
We even 4 manned Heig~ The Unclean, silly people can't avoid damage
took 19 minutes.
Had a complete tard on Grobbulus who dropped clouds everywhere, he was soon kicked.

Name one MMO game that has given away free expansion packs
In fact name 1 game period that has given away free expansion packs. I dont mean free downloadable content like this one is I mean a full expansion pack.
The company (in this case Blizzard) invest a lot of time into developing a expansion pack. There is no reason what so ever they shouldnt be able to sell it on. Players will still pay their subs as per usual. Blizzard still havnt lost a lot of subs since TBC in fact it grew.
Also on a side note although yes Blizzard have proberbly got to the point where they are making quite a lot of money from the subs, but remember they still have to pay for the servers they use maintenance of them servers GM's developers for free content patch's like this one. If they didnt claim any subs there would be no game as maintaining the game would cost more than the game is sold for.
EVE-ONLINE.
EU patches have always been the day after since vanilla WoW. So a US patch on Tuesday is as good a confirmation as you could want that EU will get it the following day. Regardless it's confirmed on the login screen now anyway.
A few of the bosses should be doable, but no one knows how Ulduar is being released (if its done in phases or what).
The gauntlet looks like being a gear check though.

Asheron's Call has had monthly content updates from release (though also two paid for expansion packs) and some of these content updates have been huge.
Ive tried believe me. I suppose the only way i can do it is to move servers and try to get into a 3 night a week guild. Im loathe to move due to my friends, who are also casual. Sadly we never seem to have more than 5 on per night, even though there are about 20 of us.

What about putting a post on the official forums? You could advertise for people in the same position. I am sure you could find others and not have to leave the server.
What server are you on? I will be joining one which my friends are on too.
