Ford Kuga

i think i preferred tom ford when he wrote in CAR. although he's a lot better now than he was when he started 5th gear..

i'd look at a legacy outback if you don't need a full-on off-roader

he looked like a rag doll though in there aswell

Yeah looked pretty rough at parts, it really seems to be a slightly remodelled focus on stilts. Headlights remind me more of the new mondeo than the facelift focus. Its probably more similar to that 1 series 4x4 that bmw are doing but the kuga seems to look much better and actually suit that look, the 1 series in pics looks strange to say the least.

looks nice to say its a ford but for 15-20k depending on 1st/2nd hand i could think of a lot better things to get with that kind of money!

but i am a person who isnt a fan at all of ford.

When my dad was looking for a similar car (but without the need to tow), we looked at the Kuga and quickly dismissed it in favour of the freelander 2. The freelander 2 really is a great car and it's just come in the top 10 of the latest J.D Power survey, it's not that much more pricey than the kuga so not sure why you've dismissed it so quickly...

What's your budget?

A decent freelander is over 10k more than a kuga and as a landrover fan i'd prefer one but not at that cost! As for a disco 4 - what a farce, its a disco 3 with a pig ugly front end, no ta, especially not for 30K+++ for a decent spec.

Well, that really depends on your idea of 'decent'. Is a car only decent nowadays if it has 18 inch alloys, 'memory mirriors', 14 speakers and doby pro logic surround sound.

Personally I cant understand why anyone would waste money on anything above the TD4 GS spec unless they have money to throw away and the list price for that is virtually identical to a Titanium 4wd Kuga.
