I think i'm in love, RS6 love

That does not look different enough to the 90000000000000 A6 2.0 TDI S-Line's on our Motorways to look like a £76k car.

Which I guess is why nobody has bought one.

How many e39 M5's were sould roughly ?:p

If I bought a standard A6, then shoehorned a Lambo engine into it, I'd expect people to think "nice project, but why not just buy a better car to start with".

Maybe I'm getting too old to be impressed by Top Trump level stats.
Personally I'd rather have something like a Jag, and if I could do without rear doors, a nice XK v8, which IMO is massively better looking and far more clever with it's lightweight materials. The S6 is after all, simply a VERY fast lardbucket.

I like it, I like it a lot actually. I am glad that it isn't as loud and 'noticeable' as it 'could' have been. I like understatement, to me it looks quietly confident, seeing the RS badge and the huge elliptical exhausts says to me that it does indeed mean serious business, it just doesn't shout about it too much. I do think that it's about £10k too expensive though.

If I could make some changes, I would do the following, put a chrome grill surround on it, change the wing-mirrors to body coloured, I don't much like them in silver, and make the exhausts chrome. I think one or two other chrome accents would look pretty good too.

I think it looks superb, better in saloon version than avant. The rear arches look more defined than then avant.

I think I would take an XFR over it though, even if it isnt quite as powerfull.

the avant version is soooooooooooo much nicer, saloon is boring.

on another note, had an e60 m5 follow me down the motorway today, it looked angry, i was scared :)

This would cost you £79,995.

Looks great but I dont think its worth £80k!

this is it

id much rather spend half as much and have a C63 which although down on turbos, cylinders and power, is still faster and half the cost.

If you're gonna spend 80k to have a car with a gallardo engine, id rather have a gallardo myself.

A better comparison would be the E63, as the C class is a much smaller car. more like the RS4. The E63 is about 70k ish.

I could have an Atom 300 and still have 40-50k for something sensible and still just as quick I bet.

I could get a hyabusa for 8k and it would be quicker than the RS6. Your point being what? Comparing apples and oranges.

I reckon if I was completely loaded, the RS6 Avant would be my daily runaround lol. Estate car practicality, sleeper looks, ridiculous power. Sounds good for the gentleman aound town lol.
