I've had my work Vista Laptop running for 6 months now since I last re-installed and have rebooted it probably twice in this period.

My index rating is currently 8.54 (out of 10)

To check, click START > RUN

Type perfmon then when the pop window appears choose the Reliability Monitor.

Index rating is over on the left hand side.

In other news, a 2008 server I installed over 3 months ago has an index rating of 10 :)

8.9 but mine has only been running a week or so. It's kind of misleading because it has a habit of locking up occasionally so the score was higher than I anticipated.

...4.92 - Big thanks go out to ATI for that one :D :D

I'm assuming people are looking at the latest date?

The score can vary wildly from session to session depending on what has happened that week.

For me my relative score may as well be a perfect 10 for Vista itself as it never crashes or slows down or anything but some STEAM games do crash on exit (but don't actually crash, just report so) and Windows updates/hardware changes etc can alsocause the score to drop.

RM is a great way to spot trends in apps though, you can see what apps and BG services flag the most etc.
