A bargain?

I wouldn't touch a B Grade HDD with a bargepole.

Normally B Grade means damaged packaging or something minor (driver CD etc) missing. Now an OEM HDD comes in a static bag, no cables, no packaging, no manuals, just the drive. You have to wonder how a bare drive gets classified as B grade then....

Have had several in the past, all MFG refurbs :)
Full warranty on all of them, although this may vary obviously.

Will be manufacturer refurbished. :)

All my hard drives in the past 4 years have been B-Grade and the graded drives usually are more reliable than their production line counterparts.

Would agree with others and getting a spinpoint....

I was dubious by Samsung's offering when they first came out but have been using them for several years now..

Quiet n cool... Still no failures :)

Same here, all the drives i currently use came from bgrade and i havent had a single problem.

Those drives are clearly returns as a result of the seagate firmware problem. I have had one go on me, but all it needed (before it failed) was a firmware update. All the b-grade drives will almost certainly have this applied since it caused a lot of failures. I'd imagine they're absolutely fine and less likely to fail than brand new. Save yourself a few quid.

Pretty much what i was thinking :)

£ 11 is worth having , just about, if u get free postage, so why not ? if it works when u first get it surely thats enough, dont most hdds die after years of use ?
