**Summer Transfer Thread: News, Rumours and Speculation**

I wish :( Fergie surely won't give up on Berb so quickly. Would Real want him anyway?

Real love our players! He's be perfect in Spain too.
The fact that so many fans have turned on him means his days are numbered. I really can't remember anyone being so disliked by so many, so quickly and can't remember anyone sticking around too long when the fans aren't onside.

really? i am led to believe his form for argentina has been sub-standard for some time now. i actually rate him but don't think you can use his argentina form to demonstrate that.

Wasn't it 1 goal and 3 assists in the last 4-0 win (the one before their 6-0 humiliation)?
He's been brilliant for them and often their top performer.

We payed over the odds for Berba, fans shouldn't be so eager to see us throw money away again.

Throw money away? We won the EPL and CL last year with him and the only trophy we've so far secured is the one where Tevez played all the time. The fact we play better when Tevez plays has a lot to do with it and there is no doubting that Tevez working with Rooney is brilliant and allows Ronaldo so much more time.

I really hope the liverpool - Tevez rumours are just unfounded rumours. I really dont want Tevez at Liverpool. He would cost a fortune and frankly we could spend that amount of money much wiser.

Personally I think this is just an attempt by Tevez owners to get Man Utd to stump up the cash for him. After the way Fergie went on about Heinze they know that linking him with Liverpool will infuriate old whiskey nose and make him do everything in his power to stop him going to us

Huh? If he went back to Chelsea, he wouldn't have to sign Deco, because he's already there.

Sometimes these journos don't even try, I swear...

Ahem.

Aston Villa Football Club could move for Manchester United's Fraizer Campbell in the summer.

Who he?

I'd take Tevez at Liverpool. Think he would fit our game perfectly and with his mate in the squad, I think he'd settle quickly and thrive from the much stronger support and spirit Liverpool have :p

Never happen though once Fergie summons his powers of darkness.

I think that Tevez would fit with our system, but thats not the reason why I wouldnt want us to buy him, its more to do with use of the money. The figure I keep hearing for Tevez is around the 30 million mark, I think we could use 30 million a lot better than splashing it on Tevez.

I'd love for Tevez to go to Liverpool. All work no end product, perfect partner for Kuyt.

Berbatov will get better, but only if a "fox in the box" type player is brought in to stick the bloody ball in the net, we haven't had one since RvN left.

Tevez has never been worth 30m, nor Berbatov, these transfer fees are getting ridiculous :/

For 30m you expect 30 goals a season guaranteed, you have to, it's such a ludicrous figure

we haven't had one since RvN left.

And just look what we've won since.... We were struggling with 1 player with his thumb up his ass up top, got rid of him, won everything, bought another one this season and results are worse and performances are definitely worse, last thing we need is a partner for him to walk around with him and keep him company.

Youngster. Had a fantastic six months at Hull in the Championship, got loaned out to Spurs this season as a makeweight in the Berbatov deal, and has done nothing of note. Could be a decent striker, and will probably only cost about £3m at most to tempt him away from Ferguson. Definitely worth a punt for Villa, who wouldn't miss that kind of money too much.

I bought him in Fifa 09 manager mode for Coventry and he's ****:p

Hmm. Sounds like the sort of little gamble MON would love alright.

Would love to see us make a move for a proven goalscorer this summer, though. Although probably not going to happen - I'm sure MON sees replacing Laursen and Barry as the key deals, and we'll likely not see a big move outside of those two.

Hope Barry goes to Arsenal, he's pretty much what is needed in the CM, having said that, Song is looking adequate so it's hard to say.
