Well with the season coming to a climax the papers are starting to fill up again with all sorts of transfer speculation. Will Barry join Liverpool? Will Ronaldo go to Madrid? Will Tevez sign permanently? Will Chelsea buy big this year? Will Arsenal buy anyone for more than 50p and 20 cigs? Will Man City outbid everybody?

Here is the weekend gossip from the BBC to start us off

Portsmouth are willing to sell Croatian midfielder Nico Kranjcar to Tottenham this summer in order to ease their cash problems. (Daily Mirror)

Defender Martin Laursen is set for talks with boss Martin O'Neill to discover whether he still has a future at Aston Villa. (Daily Mail)

Chelsea striker Claudio Pizarro, currently on loan at Werder Bremen, is wanted by Panathinaikos. (Daily Mirror)

Liverpool goalkeeper Charles Itandje will be off-loaded after his "'inappropriate" conduct at the Hillsborough memorial service. (Daily Mail, various)

Ukraine striker Andriy Voronin will return to Liverpool after a loan spell with Hertha Berlin expires at the end of the season. (Daily Mirror)

Manchester United will launch a £70m bid for AC Milan's Kaka if Cristiano Ronaldo leaves for Real Madrid in the summer. (News of the World)

But Ronaldo says he will stay at United while Sir Alex Ferguson remains manager. (Sunday Mirror)

Chelsea have had a £44m bid for David Villa rejected by Valencia and will have to up their offer if they want to sign him. (Observer)

Joe Cole is to be offered a new four-year, £100,000-a-week deal by Chelsea in the summer. (News of the World)

Tottenham have set their sights on Blackburn's Roque Santa Cruz and plan to sell Roman Pavlyuchenko and Darren Bent in the off-season. (News of the World)

Arsenal, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are tracking CSKA Moscow's Czech Republic international striker Tomas Necid, 19, who is available for £3m. (Daily Mirror)

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is set to swoop for teenage Brazilian centre-back Jose Rodolfo Pires Ribeiro Dodo from Corinthians. The 17-year-old could end up costing United £5m. (Daily Mirror)

Ferguson is also watching 16-year-old Real Valladolid centre-back Victor Mongil, after being told the defender is one for the future. (Daily Mirror)

Derby County defender Claude Davis hopes to turn his loan spell at Crystal Palace into a permanent move. (Daily Express)

Hibernian boss Mixu Paatelainen fears striker Steven Fletcher and defender Rob Jones could both leave Easter Road in the summer. Nottingham Forest have been linked with a £1m move for Jones and Celtic are long-term admirers of Fletcher. (Daily Record)

I really hope the liverpool - Tevez rumours are just unfounded rumours. I really dont want Tevez at Liverpool. He would cost a fortune and frankly we could spend that amount of money much wiser.

Personally I think this is just an attempt by Tevez owners to get Man Utd to stump up the cash for him. After the way Fergie went on about Heinze they know that linking him with Liverpool will infuriate old whiskey nose and make him do everything in his power to stop him going to us

anyone know anymore about the BBC claiming Kaka is in talks with United? As much as id love to see him wear the shirt, i find it highly unlikely.

It is not the BBC claiming Kaka is in talks, it's the sun. The BBC just puts up a list of stories that are in the papers each day.

As for the credibility of the story, well it was in the sun so draw your own conclusions from that ;)

Hyypia's signed a pre-contract agreement to join Bayer Leverkusen in the summer :(

Really hoped he see his career out with us but it looks as if Leverkusen have offered him a 2 year deal which we wouldn't do and he's likely to be a regular for them also.
