1 Month of no beer :(

WHAT

THE

****?

How is that even possible?

I spend £20 on a night out, £30 tops!!

It is easily done. Many an occassion gone out for a quiet meal, somewhere nice, few drinks, then off to a pub with some mates, few more, then a taxi home. No later than midnight. 100-200 quid is easily done!

But then I make sure everyone has a good drink.

Jeez. I feel like a **** if i spend £20 on a night out! All you have to do is buy cheap stuff from ASDA/Tesco and get a bit hammered before going out. Then have 2-3 drinks in a pub and go on to a club and have 3-4 more! Sorted!

I think your main problem is drinking pints in a nightclub. Who the hell wants to drink that foul ****water? You're never gonna get drunk because it's mainly water anyway. Drink spirits/bottled beer.

How is it mainly water? its going to be exactly the same as a pint from a normal pub otherwise the NMO would have something to say about it!

I have taken to having a few drinks before going out then limiting my spending to £50 max. Works well and as I only go out every other weeks it's not too expensive.

Going with drink for any length of time has never been a problem. I just binge once in a while.

I meant to do this a fews months ago but unexpected expenses meant I didn't do it :(

Unexpected expenses stopped you from quitting drinking? Unless those expenses where so bad you had to drink to get over them:p.

Well done though, the money you save is nice to have and spend.

I usually don't spend more than about £20 on a night out, and I only go out 3 or 4 times a month, but if I added on all the games of pool I play when at the bar it probably goes up quite a lot:rolleyes:.

Maybe i just don't drink as much as i used to but these days providing i'm going out in my local area on a normal weekend then i have say 8 pints at £3 a go so £24. Fiver on food afterwards and fiver on a taxi. Maybe buy a couple of people a drink at around £3 each. Luckily i don't have to pay to go into clubs around here but totting that up it comes to £40 which sounds about right to be fair.

On a weeknight i'll only have 3-4 pints so that comes in at about £20.

Well my new toys just arrived... Jesus H. Christ, I didn't expect the monitor to be that much bigger physically than my old iiyama Visionmaster but I've had to rearrange the whole desk  This thing takes up most of my field of vision! I always said I'd never move on from CRT but finally made the leap :D

Pics later when I actually tidy the place up :p

Installation of the new card later and then some Fallout 3 and Left4Dead I think :D

What's the best thing to clean these screens with? I think I'll keep the cover from the box for now to put over it when not in use :D

I've once spent over £200 on a night out, but that was for a best mates birthday, involved several strippers and an all day session split across 2 counties.
