pay day

It would be very interesting for all the 'Why don't people save money' trolls on here to declare:

1. Whether they still live with parents
2. Whether they have / still do accept any financial help from mummy and daddy in any form....help with house deposit, bought them driving lessons or anything else.

i got paid after 2 weeks this month, usually its every 4 weeks, really screwed my finances was expecting a massive lump sum at the end of the month instead end up with 2 puny sums, which i just blow so fast =[

I save around 700 a month and once my g/f works full time we should be saving over 1k a month towards our dream house!

I agree with Fox.

But there will always be two types of people... those who instinctively budget and those that can't or don't.

And a 3rd, the type that think they can blame someone else when they don't take responsibility of their finances and get stung on bank charges.

Then start whining.

Total idiots.

Its not trolling at all, live within your means, why don't some people understand that?

And to answer your questions, no to both.

I never find myself waiting to be paid. I used to end up going overdrawn every month, I sat down and went through my Finances and reduced my out goings a hell of a lot. I still spend money, quite a bit on my hobby but I can afford it. I've been naughty and haven't saved for a month of so but a cheque will be going in this week.

I try and save around 500/600 a month, not easy as I am a full time student. I look forward to pay day but that is only because I like to save it :). It also goes towards the deposit for a house next year when I finish my studies.

Edit.

Most relationships fail :( (no troll)

got paid yesterday and it's ALL gone bar about £40 for food at work and going out (good job i don't drink or that wouldn't go very far :p)

mind you, i was £150 down this month (1/4 of my wage :() thanks to work paying me incorrectly. oh well, i'll be a bit richer on the 22nd of next month

i wouldn't say i'm the best at budgeting, but there's always a few spare £££'s in the bank at the end of the month, i used to put away £150 a month before i lost my job, i'll be getting back to that once i've finished sorting out the mess of not having a job :( after next month it's save save save time.
