Anyone tried this

had a bottle tonight in curry house, daft expensive and 8% but thought I would give it a shot

what a strange but great taste, not your usual strong beer twang but almost the taste of a sparkling wine

maybe I had had a few but thought it was awesome

I like it a lot, its different to other beers which is good.

It's absolutely brilliant and I buy it whenever i'm feeling a little bit more flush than regular beer costs.

Heavy Lager and Curry = much bloatedness for me. Its the reason they can offer all you can eat

Yeah, that's about what we pay at our local curry place (maybe more like £8.50 - but I haven't been in a while, so I'm not sure), though they don't so the smaller bottles.

Aye, I've been supping quite a bit of cobra recently. It's smooth as a babies bum. The king stuff is lush too. Like Hoegaarden grand kru in a way.

IIRC, the only supermarket I've found that sells it is Sainsburys. Don't normally shop there, but I went in one randomly once and spotted it on a shelf.

Yeah, I have tried it for when I do drink, which is quite rare. I thought it was pretty good. You have good taste, goes down well with a ruby

its not much good out of a can, stick to the bottles
