King Cobra Beer

Agreed Rotty, lovely stuff. The prices are unfortunately about right, its about a tenner a bottle around here too :(

i found some in cans at a shop in sheffield, i bought some expecting it to taste as good as it does out of a bottle.. it doesnt basically.

Ive tried the cobra beer, and its very nice. but i would never drink beer with a curry, milk for the win, its the only drink that can take the burning away quickly.

Not just me that likes it then :p

very expensive at my curry house

£5.50 for 375ml

or £9.50 for 750ml

is this about normal ?

I can't remember the street, but if that is in Notts, possibly near Market Square, then it could be the same one I used to go to. Prices are familiar.

I Love It :)

The way it comes in a wine line bottle is awesome too, i normally have 1 or 2 before a night out, gets me ready for the spirits.

£3 (or £3.50, cant remember) a bottle (750ml) from Sainsbury.

My local curry place it costs ~£4 for a 750ml bottle, sod paying £10

That sounds a bit like you are eating a curry that is hotter than you can comfortably manage to me if you need milk to wash it down, a couple of beers and a curry is one of lifes simple pleasures.

Never tried King Cobra myself although I've had Cobra a fair bit, I'll have to try it when I see it.

As was said - it's about £3.50 for a big Champagne sized bottle (with cork) of it in Sainsburys.

Over the years I have tried well over 300 beers - and I have to say, this was probably in the top 3.

It was so good - I even had to let the wife try a bit of it ;) Well worth the money as it is pretty strong & you can taste the quality.

Sell it in Tesco too, lovely stuff. I'm sure there's been a thread about it before, er.

Asda too apparently.
