Going to rebuild my pc soon but i don't fancy downloading this entire pack again. What the best way to backup your games and reloading them when i get a fresh OS?

right click the games then 'backup local content'. This'll compress each game into a folder including exe file for easy backup installation. You can select if you want to backup to a cd or dvd and it tells you the ammount needed.. Then go into your steam backup folder and burn the folder(s) to a dvd

not only have i never played any of the games in the offer.
i've never had used steam.
i gave up on windows years ago, in favour of linux.

but this sounds like just too silly a deal so i rebuilt a windows gameing rig last night and bought in. currently downloading portal.

One of my mates has a maestro and i am always taking the mick out of him. Hassle your bank into issuing a visa debit, or threat to go elsewhere. Maestro really is a limit. Also, i suggest asking a parent to use their card then withdraw a tenner from an ATM and pay your parents back. Or do what Memphis is saying. Have you got online banking? It is pretty simple to do a bank transfer.
