Supplements

Maximuscle Cyclone is Very good, and Does work , because i've tried it, and noted strength improvements after 10-14 days. But at nearly £40 a tub - for 10 days supply, it really is very expensive, unless you can afford it, and are dedicated enough to maintain a good traning routine. I't not really a "Weight-gain" powder though - i don't think, but "lean-muscle" gain powder, so you'll see less weight, but more muscle by using this suppliment (i did anyway.)

2 cents

bulk whey - 30g
bulk blended oats - 20g
bulk creatine mono - 5g

thats similar to what you are getting in cyclone except, the whey would be ~£40 for 4.5kg, the oats something like £12 for 4.5kg and mono is cheap as chips.
So say £60 and it will last you hell of a lot longer than a tub of cyclone.

or - a lean chicken breast and some rice with veg (ok theres no mono) will give you the same as the cyclone.

given those 2 options, i wouldnt be anywhere near cyclone :p

no breakfast on waking?
if you were bulking then eating once awake would be a priority surely.

2 shakes is only 50g of protein (according to MM themselves, its 50g whey and 10g glut) that you are having, surely you can fit that in somewhere with proper food?

at £40 odd a tub (1.2kg) i would be looking at better and cheaper sources of protein :p

one last thing, that doesnt seem like many kcal at all for a day

* I also have designer whey (just a protein shake) which i take before orange juice (breakfast) and just before i got bed. But having only a choice between the two, i would def get Cyclone

I officially give up.

I gave up trying a long time ago, don't waste your energy pal.

Pseudoscience will always be around, and the only winners are the supplement companies.

I strongly suspect the majority of the supplement obsessed folk are teens who are just starting out...they'll grow out of it.

FF it would be interesting to see your diet on a typical day, i think it would be good to show people and myself how much dedication is needed to build without potions an that! Granted you weigh almost 40kg more than me (i think) but it would be interesting to see, unless you have posted it before. I hope it doesn't disappoint!

After all this chat about supps i think i am going to go and buy a weeks worth of food, i think i have been pretty lazy lately when it comes to food and its costing me a bomb at work. The routine of preparation the night before or watever will take some effort that i have been avoiding.

Its very hard getting in all the protein you need on just normal food, sadly.

an example routine on a working day:

get up at 6:15am

Skinny models diet....
Dude I'm not suprised you think Cyclone is all that... even a packet of biscuits on top of that diet would help you improve lol

How much do you weigh?

Maybe we should make a thread here dedicated to recipes, rather than supplements :p

I suck at cooking but have learnt quite a bit in the last 6 months and can now cook - although only very plain meals based mainly on chicken :o

There's a few forums that have dedicated recipe sections. I was going to put my Fish Pie recipe up made with sweet potato, salmon, king prawns, cod and haddock..... food of the gods :D

I'm brilliant with chicken now also..

*Winks at trusty George Foreman*

dude, you weight nealry 90kg and you eat that?
get some friggin' carbs on your diet lol.
not counting the shakes you hardly have 100grams of carbs on your diet come on lol.
the protein amount looks good, but the carbs you're eating... scary lol.

Nothing wrong with keeping carbs low

true, but you need to make up for it with either fat or protein, of which, he isn't :p

an example routine on a working day:

get up at 6:15am

- orange/ apple juice 6:30am - get metabolism going

- get to work, breaky in canteen 8:45am. 1 wholemeal toast (no butter), 4 egg whites (scrambled with skimmed milk) beans and tinned tomatoes. Im lucky i have a canteen at work.

- 10.30am - cyclone

- 12pm - gym (heavy weight for 45mins)

- 1pm - tuna jacket potato (no butter or mayo). portion of brocoli

- 4pm - Cyclone.

- 7pm - tea. Chicken breast, more veg, some small carbs.

Other notes
* a banana will be consumed in there somewhere too.
* yeo valley natural yogurt is all good
* tinned sardines/ mackerel etc on rice cakes are very cheap, good, and are easily stored in work draw.
* skimmed milk is good too.
14st and what height? As you might have gathered from other posts, that isn't a well balanced diet. You think an Orange Juice for breakfast is going to kick start your metabolism with such low calories? I'll bet you a tub of Maxihussle SuperMegaTurbo it's not :p

It's very hard getting all the protein you need? Dude the only effort you make is a couple of eggs, a tin of tuna and a chicken breast

Why do throw away those nutritious egg yolks? Where's your healthy fats??
