New UFC Game by THQ

On expert mode it nearly always gets to late 2nd or 3rd before a ko or sub.

I dont try and sub Chuck too early, just hold him down and beat the crap out of him till he's tired out and smashed up, then go for a sub. Alternatively knee him into a living death standing up.
 
The best way i've found to beat chuck on the higher levels are using kicks to the midsection. Build up a nice big welt and then either 1, if you in close enough clinch and pull guard, or take him down and pull guard. Then use rubber guard and sweep him straight into mount. Rain down the punches, if ou get swept just keep throwing from inside his guard. Eventually he will kick you off and then just rinse and repeat. If you get a big enough welt on his side he will get rocked from them eventually.

Alternatively get a huge flying knee to connect with his chin :D

Advanced right now to get better, tried Expert and got schooled, but I'll get there :)

Guesing 95% of online will be vs Lesnar fanboys, so this OcUK fight club had better work out :D
 
I fight on Advanced as well now. Not tried Expert yet but I probably will tomorrow. Having real difficulty getting a submission as Rua on Advanced, just end up kicking Chuck's ribs in and doing him that way. Fighting on Advanced certainly forces you to tighten your defences, as I've been flash KO'd several times after a mistimed kick left me open to a Superman punch from Chuck.

Awesome game though, really looking forward to the full game :D

I tried advanced and got owned a couple of times (Leaving myself open like Davey said) but now I can beat it pretty much every time. I do like the slightly random element that the game has, in terms of getting that cheeky KO/
 
It's nice when you get the cheeky KO as well. I had a close first round against Chuck, and at the start of the second approached him with a flying knee to the face, right as he was lowering himself for an overhand right. Goodnight, see you later, 4 seconds into the 2nd round :D

Take it you're playing as Shogun? :p

Chuck is clearly far superior in the striking department, Shogun just gets run over in 2 player.

That will probably be down to either mine, or my mates inability to have any idea what we're doing on the ground :p

Bit of Ball ache though tbh. Default match times 8PM EST.
Although they say they may reschedule if they can, its still abit naff.
