The Nokia 5800 Express Media (Tube) Thread

I have this phone, and I hate it, when I receive a phone call and try and unlock it half the time the screen just stays black and I end up missing the call. Too many problems and too many things they didn't think of, i.e You can mark files by simply selecting them, then you can drag into a folder.

When someones ringing me, the screen lights up and then I can just press the "answer call" button on the screen. I dont need to unlock it if someone is calling.
Does yours not do that?

Does anyone have this problem with themes:

The theme itself displays fine and works fine apart from when you go into the options of something, then the screen behind the options list just goes a grey color until you close the list?

Well yes, mine does this but I'd like to know who is calling me before I answer, if it's a random person, I don't exactly want to answer.

I think the phone has too many problems and things Nokia didn't think of to make it nicer.

The screen on mine lights up and tells me whos ringing

Mine too, you can even set it to speak the person whos ringing you's name when the phones not on silent as well, so it doesnt even need to be looked at immediately.

I dont really know what more you are looking for when someones ringing.

You can press the green mechanical button to take a call, without having to wake the phone up with the slider.

Ginga

But you dont need to when someone is ringing you because the screen lights up for you to answer the call anyway.

Accidentally got superglue on my screen last night, it's only a small bit but it's annoying. Is the screen made of plastic or glass? I don't want to go and try anything too harsh incase it knackers it even more.

Guess insurance won't cover it :(

It's sorted now, took the chance and used a paperclip to scrape it down to a point that it's not really noticeable. Time to get a screen protector I think..
