haven't played vs for a long time now... hate survival mode... sooooo boring... ;/ meh.. ill have to wait till people get bored of it :)

In /re to putting sv_search_key in a server..I'd ask that people try to maintain the same plugins, admins and settings on their servers if they're going to make it so that ocuk players will end up connecting there. It generally is me that gets contacted when servers mess up and it's a lot easier to provide support when we're all using the same settings (it also generally improves the user experience if all the servers are pretty much the same in /re to plugins and admins). If you're planning on deviating, I'd ask that you do something like "sv_search_key ocukcustom" or something (e.g. the test server I made is "sv_search_key ocuktest").

Looks good mate, I saw it ;)

Ours is fine with a different search key to OCUK, all good. Had some fellas on there a few time already. All helps share the load a bit really.

I agree that those wanting to be in the OcUK server group conform to the current server configs for managability.

When you're less busy, let me know - still haven't had a game ;)

The boomer is by far the most frustrating and tense SI to play IMO. I regularly get 'boomer frustration' when i pop out of a corner just a little bit too far for a survivor to push you, but too close for them to shoot you, and when they DO shoot you and they get away with it, or you puke and they push you away causing the puke to cancel, that rubs me up and i get pretty ****** :D

Also when you drop off the top of a building as boomer and they manage to push you about, i'm on the edge of my bleedin seat trying to control the boomer towards a survivor so he can blow up over them. Nothing you can do though. Once they start to push you about, unless a n00b accidentally shoots you, you're a gonna.

Oh yeah, I'll be up for some Vs at 9pm;)
 
Nice versus game tonight guys with Knubje, mrk, bledd, cp and some others. Quite a close game until the finale where we got trounced. Shame about the seemingly lack of tank spawns in these new levels, but that may just be bad luck for me with the games I have been in since the update. Also, good fun survival with hops, cat and sharpy. I'll be on again on Wednesday night definately, and possibly 2moz :)

I have named it server 4 as it seems to go from 1-3, 5 & 7. If someones server 4 is down I will change mine to server 8 or summit.

The server is set to 8 man versus mode, but my dear old [OcUK]Raz is playing 4 man survival on it currently :p

Will your server have a different search key? I'm confused what search keys we have available now..
 
Also, oxy you may want to think about taking the admin list off Aekeron and using that, as if problems crop up in the servers you currently have no one who can fix them, excpet you (I test joined it last night). Also helps if you copy over some of the other config files. On top of this, thanks for hosting :)

That's gone for the moment - had some issues applying a sourcemod update earlier today so I'm taking it down until I can ensure parity with the other servers.

I've updated the votemanager sourcemod plugin so admins should find that they have extra options (including things like 'veto vote', etc. Details here: http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=85364). I've also removed "Left8Dead" for now until the issue of it not working when connecting via a lobby is resolved.

Hopefully I've not missed anything /re updates. I had a quick look for the plugin that allows admins to summon tanks/hordes/etc but didn't have much look finding a current version. If anyone can point one out, feel free.

I had a great game the other day where I jumped down as a boomer on two survivors who pushed me back and forward to each other trying desperately to get me away when one of the other survivors came round the corner and shot me. :p

Exploded on the 3 of them. :D

No! Im gonna get you back for when you smoked me at the very start of BH5 ;) Ran out the train, for a second i thought "Mmm, no smoker, i'm safe" carried on running then heard the dreaded tongue lash. Before i even got dragged back to you, I said "i don't ******* believe this, i'm dead the *******, *******,******* :D:D

I've just been on the steam forums and read you can lower the chances of medkit spawns through server lists, is there a chance that this is true and you can do this Aekeron (and other mods) on the ocuk servers? I think there should be a cap of 2 extra from the safe room, if the pills can be increased a little to counter this, then that's fair enough. It's annoying when as infected you wear down the opposing team and they end up finding four medpacks :(

2nd Edit:

Some commands:

sm_cvar Director_vs_convert_pills 0

sm_cvar Director_convert_pills 0

These affect whether the director conversts pills to medpacks. This should mean there should still be numerous pills, but not so many medpacks.

Yeah, I saw that plugin a while ago but it's not been approved, which makes me quite wary of using it. My experiences of non-approved plugins have nearly always been problem-tastic :/

I'd be kind of interested in editing the levels of items and such, though it'd be far better if I could find a way to let you admins do it yourselves :)
