you can always set the pc to automatically lock when it does login (using psshutdown )


if anyone gets local access to your pc, they'll be able to get in anyway :p

Thanks for that, always hated having to login, will sort my home pc and media centre later, nice tip. :)
 
111 seconds with me login in.

There is such a delay when I get onto the desktop though, wonder if it's Nod32?

opteron 146 @2.6ghz
2 gb ram
120gb seagate ide drive (probably 7200rpm, but cant remember)

not bad for an old system :)
