My BFG RMA experiance

I've still got a BFG 7800GT with a lifetime warranty. I really want it to die so I can RMA it. But, damm BFG its still running 100% fine

Email me the product details (I don't believe that you did before, if you did I'm sorry) and I'll look into this for you.

Just a note though, since this product was launched before registration was required you do not have to register it to get the warranty. I, of course, still encourage you to send me the information when you get a chance, but I wouldn't worry about it at all :)

Quick question.

I am thinking of upgrading (buying BFG again tho :)) so I will be selling my 8800gtx sometime soon. I purchased it in the summer of 2007 so i believe i'm right in saying the 30 day registration e.t.c. doesnt apply. However i'm wondering if the warranty will still be valid for whoever i sell it to?

You are correct, registration for that product is not required. Technically the warranty is only good for the original purchaser as well.

Though, if you want to email me your contact details, we can discuss further.

Done Jeff, thanks.

Thought i'd wade in with my experience

Basically, i peeled off the sticker to my GTX 280, it now looks horrible as i wasn't able to get all the residue off, so i emailed BFG and asked if they could send out new stickers for me.

I thought it was a long shot, but low and behold, Jeff came to the rescue and has gone through a lot of effort to send the stickers out to me :)

unfortunately, i've got work and the fed ex guy can't just post them through the box, so i still haven't got them, but the thought and effort made shows me that BFG customer support is second to none.

They're only stickers, but a very well done to everyone at BFG, my choice for graphics cards for the last 5 years :)

Cheers Jeff!

Yeah i'd second that, i would never get any other brand now, it's funny how just providing quality customer service makes such a difference to the outlook of things.

I put the request into our UK warehouse to get this checked into, but I think they were doing inventory or my contact was on holiday as I haven't heard back from them yet. I'll try to get this sorted out on Tuesday for you (I believe Monday is a holiday in the UK).

BTW, goo gone works like a charm to get all the sticky residue off of the card ;) I'd definitely prefer for you to have our branding on the card, but just in case...

BFG are great. Much better than Asus for example. I tried to RMA my X800 XT with asus a couple of years back and they wanted to charge me £25 quid to just look at it and I had to send it to Asia. Needless to say I didn't bother with that.

This is how customer support should be :D

Good customer support means more sales. More sales means more money. BFG might lose a little on replacements, but the good reputation of the company makes up for that. I know it won me over. :D
