Problem is the ref was completely blind to Fletchers tackle, all he saw was a connection and a gunners player hit the deck. He could barely see the ball so didn't see Fletchers connection.

Yeah but that's why he has a linesman.

Terrible decision mainly due to the factor that he could have yellow carded him IMO.

theres no measure of howmuch of the ball u should get in the rules. rules are if u take the ball first, its a clean tackle. he got the ball first, it was diverted wide well away from the player.

If Chelsea get through then i don't think it's much of an issue but Fletcher would have been important if Utd are to play Barca.
