Good little earner that game turned out to be!

I had £1 on ronaldo next goal when he made it 3-0, at 7/1 which I was happy with.

Then put £1 on next goal to be a penalty at 18/1.

After a few other £1 bets here and there I ended up with a profit of £20.

Happy days ;)

I really feel for Gibbs, but even more so for Fletcher - who in no way deserved a red card (even a yellow would have been harsh, but at least understandable) - Im just glad that with Carrick, Anderson, Giggs and Scholes we should have enough players for central midfield for the final

Maybe the freekick for the 2nd was a little fortunate, but Almunia should have got to it, and Arsenal didnt deserve their penalty and otherwise hardly tested VDS at all, so it should have been 3-0 on the night

Everyone in a blue shirt played their ******** off and deserve their night in Rome without a doubt

If it was a mistake within a league it wouldn't be as bad, but it's a decision that has stolen a player of his place in history, and with poor competition rules that do not allow any form of appeal, it's just wrong.

spot on

can i have some more rolleyes i havent been in here to recieve some forawhile and it seems with people like you in here i really have been missing the intelligent conversations :p

Or maybe you talk rubbish about players out to injure when only you seem to make a fuss about it, no replays, no commentators talk about it, berba didn't make a fuss, maybe you should open your eyes.

Discussion over, your rather boring. It's a sad state of affairs when you try and claim an intelligence high ground.

Fair play to Utd, deserved to go through, we've come up very short once again. Wenger really needs to spend some money in the summer on some quality experience.

Congratulations to United for reaching another deserved final.

Thought the third goal was simply awesome and highlighted how good United are when they attack with pace. Last season they were scoring goals like that for fun, this season with Berbatov in the team they've looked distinctly limp in comparison.

Edit: Thought Arsenal did very well to get this far with the injuries they've had this season. Their supporters should be very proud.

Oh well, not good enough over the two legs so no complaints really. Annoying to see that freekick though, even before it was taken I was seething at the way Ronaldo went down.

Pleased to see Eboue keeping his cool though after he got booked for a gentle shoulder barge

berba didnt make a fuss he went down you obviously were only capable of watching the area of the screen the ball was in

it wasnt a discussion anyway really tbh just me laughing at you :p

for it to be a discussion it shouldnt start with insults imho however that was the way you played it, and discussion normally is based on intelligence you immediately reverted to insults so wheres the intelligent discussion in that ?

It wasn't the correct decision about Fletcher but on the same token we shouldn't have got that penalty against Spurs.

Good performance tonight and still looking in great form

He's gave every soft decision, fell for a lot of simulation, been very generous to Man United in the first half and tried to compensate with the penalty/sending off in favour of Arsenal. Quite a bad game if you ask me.

oohh stop making excuses - there is no "compensation" for sending a player off - thats completely ridiculous

There where also a lot of soft free kicks AGAINST Rafael that wherent deserved, fine they may be compensation for the free kick that Almunia ***** up with, but thats his fault and no one elses, Utd and Fletcher shouldnt have to pay for that

Perfect night ruined by a stupid decision from the referee. Considering we're in the final it doesn't feel as good as I hoped after that moment of stupidity. Fletcher would have started regardless of whether it's Chelsea or Barcelona.

Anyway, that third goal was absolutely immense. Typical United goal.

Arsenal fans, shame on you.

tbh ive tthought we have had quite a poor season performance wise, we have not been steamrolling teams like we were last year, ive been saying all season we have been lucky or have ground out results a lot of the time, however every team hits a rich vein of form at least once in the year, hopefully after the performances against spurs (2nd half) boro (to an extent) and tonight we can kick on and start playing the kind of fast attacking football we played last year.

Wenger what a toss pot. From killing any confidence Gibbs had gained recently by essentially blaming him for the loss, to bringing on Eboue at left back for a perfectly good gibbs when he should have put eboue on at right wing for the ever useless Theo Walcott.

Bendtner did more than Walcott and Adebayor managed put together, in a 1/4 of the time, out of position. Song defensively was useless, again lots of useless fouls from behind, looked lost at corners, lost a header to the midget Rafael in the box near the end. Utterly hopeless, aswell as the dozens of terrible passes underhit playing people into trouble if they made it to an Arsenal player.

RVP rushed back from injury, after being rushed back from another injury, with zero form, really didn't get a chance to perform paired with an immobile, offside tit.

We simply didn't create chances again, which we never do when Ade plays. it was just terrible, everywhere. How can we play so badly at 4-5-1, switch to 4-4-2 and play some fantastic attacking football, then decide to switch back to the 4-5-1 we started with, with the players who were so useless in the first leg.

Was pathetic, and to say everyone in a Blue shirt played their balls off tonight, twaddle, they gave up after the second goal, only really bothering to attack when Arsenal were pressed to far up the pitch wasting time not making chances. They were playing a training game from the 2nd goal, they had no need to do anything else.

not only that but ADebayor should have got a red for his "stamp". Judging by last summer, Wenger if not fired will clearly refuse a 50million offer for Ade while bumping him up to £160k a week.

I've never been more embarassed of a player than Adebayor to be honest, in my whole time watching football. Likewise the last time I saw ARsenal fans leave at 60mins in, well, it was pre Wenger. For all the idiots that talk about the beautiful game we play, if that were so they would have stayed despite losing. But we're playing utterly awful football, and getting trounced.

But as I said, this was embarassing, can you imagine what Songs lack of tracking back, and ADebayor giving posession away so easily would be like against Barca, we'd lose a final 10-1 and frankly lose RVP, Fabregas, Arshavin, Gallas, Bendtner, Eduardo, Sagna and clichy with it. I thank christ we didn't win.

Impossible to say what would have happened in that game after Gibbs slip, really knocked out the stuffing of the lads.

Harsh on the ref to say he got the penalty + red card so wrong, UEFA should be able to look at video evidence, after all they do to punish other 'tackles' etc that aren't seen, it should be all or none imo. Difficult to say whether Ade should have gone, one short replay doesn't show what happened, was he stretching for the ball?

It wasn't a free kick either.

That was a great penalty btw:) Over the 2 legs 3 defensive mistakes cost us, but we didn't really create enough. Better team over 180m won.

Arse, lets hope Barca get to the final and the Arsenal old boys can win it :) Henry, Hleb, Sylvinho and Toure ;)

Man, why do we have to have these arguements about who's a proper fan every time?

Think about what makes you a better fan than the one's you deride! I doubt you're no different.
