MMORG's

I might give eq2 a try actully, still have the cd's somewhere. Not sure about what expansions i have installed though. whats a good server to get onto for new starters?

Have they brought out the new char models yet in eq2? Saying it be easier to make lots of different looking armour because it to hard atm because of all the different body shapes

They been banging about it for years now.

No, it was dropped due to it being too hard or something.

Wow, I didn't realise EQ2 was that cheap now. I'll have to give it a shot. Are the servers still fairly populated?

Pick a Euro server, they seemed pretty well populated when I was last playing, bear in mind that you wont find many groups at lower levels as it's far more efficient to solo quest most of the way up to level cap.

Personally, I think they ruined the game with the last expansion.

Depends what play times or hours you play, if you're a Euro and play during 6 - 10 PM UTC, then go for one of the EU servers: Runnyeye or Splitpaw. Before I retired, these servers were nicely populated, but be aware since this game has been out for a few years, the lower level zones will of course be quite dead.

Nope, sadly.
The models do still look better than most of the other MMO's out there. However, the "Sarnak" model is the newer variant model type which is what you should go checkout if you want to see what they'll be like when the rest of the models are coverted.

Runnyeye or Splitpaw for European people because of the playtimes, prime time is 6-10PM UTC on said servers.

Note, this game is available on Steam.

I think i may already have a mid level char or 2 on runnyeye, am sorely tempted to give this a try tonight (might be wishful thinkin taking patch time into account).

Cool, thanks for the info. :)

Hmm turns out i have a level 48 swashbuckler, a level 47 illusionist and a 24 shadowknight. I don't remember playing that much . All on the splitpaw server. Not sure what to play but i'm thinking Shadowknight as i quite enjoyed that.

They're not being converted, it was canned.

There are alternate models for most of the good/nuetral races in EQ2. They are more oriental looking, I prefer them to the normal models.

Edit: Couple pics of revamped lavastorm

Really enjoying EQ2 now, its very polished. Enjoying all aspects of it so far, solo play, grouping in dungeons etc. Got my Shadowknight up to 36 yesterday and just bought a load of new gear for when i hit 40 (stripped all the plat off my other chars :D). Think i'll settle playing this and see what end game is like.
