I've been using this ROM for quite a while now, and it is very very good. Not had any problems.

im waiting on my 4th xperia, the crap SE service center is my biggest dislike, other than that its a nifty phone
Just eBayed it, back to an iPhone now. Excellent for TomTom and wowing people with the slide out KB, terrible for calls, reception, SMS, general usage. Any OS bar WM and it would have probably been a winner for me. I was a bit of a fool for thinking WM 6x would have been better than it's previous incarnations.
Apparantly there is a very active project for getting Android up and stable on the X1 though...

Problem I found was holding it side on meant covering the antenna, which killed reception. So when you've finished writing your email or SMS, you've got to wait 15-30 seconds to get reception back again. Granted this didn't happen everywhere, but certainly more often than not when sending one of the above.
I think there are radios out with better reception, but after having tried a couple they didn't make a massive difference to me.
If you're in a strong reception area, then you should be OK but for me I'm in a 2 or 3 bar area so it would drop out more often than not.
I was planing on getting on on o2. whats calling on it like? is it fiddly?

Receiving a call: To answer press the fiddly green telephone triangle on the front, or press the fiddly thin "Receive" button on the screen on the left hand side. If you're smart you disabled the screen in call with Xperia Tweak.
Making a call: Press fiddly green button, then keypad and punch in number. Or go to fiddly contacts menu, scroll down the list with the annoying scroller (or punch in name with KB open, then lose signal), select contact. Wait for reception to come back in, make call.
Obviously this won't be the same for everyone, but that's the rig morale I went through most times when sending/receiving calls.

Or just install PointUI Home2 as you main GUI and set up to 12 one-touch contacts
I tried Home, had some glitches with it though. Main one for me was the amount of steps to get a wifi connection - which was WMs saving grace, the icon was at the top. Or with the Sony X1 panel had a quick access button on the front.
Also, as nice as Home is it was always a massive disappointment to see WM seeping through the cracks every now and then - was a reminder that you were just using an app on top of an OS. For me this really detracted from the whole user experience.
