The Apprentice - 2009

Glad Phil went, my quote of the week would be when Phil was in the board room and going on about how great he was, better than all others and Nick just said, pantsman. Took the wind completely out of his sails.

Haha! Same.. That was classic, Nick is such a ledgend! Phil just puffed his cheeks out, didn't have a clue how to bat against that one!

Also glad he went, wouldn't mind seeing either Lorraine or the Irish bloke (Can't think of his name!) go next, as they both just annoy me.

The "apprentices" are getting worse and worse each season but it still makes great TV, this season they tend to just take it easy in the challenges and just try to blag their way through to the next round in the board room.

That was a quip of epic proportions, he knocked him right down. I was crying with laughter.

Is it just me or are Margaret and Nick having a really good time with the put downs this series?

They are both legends but as Phil said I think Nick is just slightly ahead for his ability to deliver fatal put downs. Pants man especially. Phil was all at sea then. :D

Yep. I keep thinking to myself that all the contestants from the second series onwards could have watched the previous series to see what happens and learn the tricks. Instead we've had 5 series now of people making the same mistakes when each task type comes around. Like the selling stuff from a week ago. There's always a trick object that is more valuable than it looks. Sell that for a respectable price and you're halfway there.

Then with the retail task from last night, why has no-one worked out Sir Alan sets up teams with some potential clients and what do they do? Choose items the two obvious buyers won't be interested in. :(

definitely. I can't turn away from this thing, even though every series gets more and more like big brother.

I do enjoy it though. I was thinking Debra, Kate, and maybe Phil for the endgame, now it looks more like Kate, Mora(sp?), and who knows?

I can't see Lorraine making it to the end, maybe ben has a chance, or even Debra on a long-shot?

Just watched the episode, glad Phil went, what a complete idiot he made himself look in the boardroom. Yasmina is definetely growing on me, I think she's rather hot tbh.

i dont think she was any better than the other 2, she only did well last week and she suddently thinks shes the ****.

are you guys forgettting that this is also 'entertainment'? annoying is enough reason for me to want someone gone from a tv show

Lets just face it, you're angry because you were finally hoping someone from the North East was going to get a job. :D

Thank God Phil has gone. He was driving me insane - just didn't know when to shut up! I get the feeling Lorraine is going to be there at the end, which is a shame since her incessant whinging drives me up the wall. My money is still on Kate to win it, though.

She'd get it, her norks are getting bigger each week too I think!

They both look grotty in that picture due to the fact they were in a kitchen cooking all day or whichever one it was

Why isn't episode 6 (last weeks) on iPlayer?

I just watched yesterdays episode, what a bunch of clowns
