Camping on the desks with just pistols unless a tank came along, and the tanks died pretty quickly. It got a bit messy with multiple tanks though.
We did start out (first 5 minutes or so) hiding on top of the forklift/on top of the shutters until the forklift disappeared thanks to the tank :confused:. That seemed to work quite well too.

Thanks! I'll try that next time, I've got 9:48 secs so far just 12 secs short of gold :( Yep 2 tanks arrive when you reach silver medal position also I think players with 4 shotties or at least 3 and 1 m16 assault rifle works best, since tanks die quicker from shotgun hits.
 
Anyone got gold on the Lighthouse map? If so how did you manage it?

The best i have managed so far is 8:38, that was outside the lighthouse in the corner (where the petrol cans are).

Nearly every game i join everyone goes up to the top of the lighthouse, even though you get pulled down by smokers or smashed into the sea by tank. It never seems to go more than 4 mins up there.

Did you check youtube for videos? all levels are there i think.

in the house is the best main room one in each corner, grab all the explosives and petrol cans and either store them in the bath or place them outside the main entrances so you can set them off when needed.

We had the stuff in the bathroom and someone grabbing an item and placing it in between waves.
 
The Generator Room is a joke compared to the others. Just pop down the hole and camp in the corner about 20ft from the ammo, all with m16s. Tanks die in seconds, you can see boomers from a mile off and hunters and smokers have loads of trouble path finding because of the pillars. Never run out of ammo, have a load of med packs too.

Do you mean the runway or the terminal?

I found the runway very hard, until i managed to find some decent players. Think i got 15 mins after quite a few tries.

The Terminal is pretty easy, i got 20 mins on that and we all started off with 0:00 times lol. best place was behind the desk as there are lots of molotovs for tank you can pick off all the zombies with dual handguns before they reach you.
 
Had a good game last night with Gord, Lagmeister, Tranquil Rage, Wilkie and some of his mates. A very close game, which we ended up winning, all coming down to the finale. We failed in level three having survived a tank, when we got huntered by three and Rage was left alone at the bottom. The other team died at the tank. Neither team did well there, but there were under 100 points in it coming into the finale. We all survived and they lost one on the first tank and died on the 2nd tank.

Good fun though, close games are the best :D

Got my first gold there on crane.

Was hard as hell but we all crouched on a ledge beside the crane and blasted with our pistols.

Got 16mins something :)
 
Anyone fancy a game or two tonight, tired of slow servers wirh people who actually have no clue how to play?

So you're saying you took advantage of the exploit? ;). I got 11 mins there playing properly then did the exploit as there were 3 guys already crouched when i entered a game so i set off the timer and joined them. I wish i could reset that time though now as its an obviously cheated time :(.

Yeah i suppose its an exploit. Didnt really think of it as such at the time.

Im sure valve will sort it soon.
